Maybe, but grey counties don't really concern themselves with the
direction of the country - they *are* the country. If the grey
counties expect something from the country? - yes, they need to be
concerned. However, the grey counties know how to do things, i.e.
okiebenz. Maybe okiebenz is served from a blue county but okiebenz is
totally grey intentioned.

If you live in any of the gray counties on this map, you had better do
all you can to resist any change to the elector college. If the
republic were turned into a democracy, the few blue counties would
determine the direction of the country.

The founders were brilliant, and most of our problems have been caused
by tinkering with the system they set up. In particular, the 12th,
16th 17th messed with the system. The 26th was probably a mistake too.

Much discussion on liberal radio about going to straight popular vote vs
Electoral College (because Hill got about a half million more votes). Of
course, if that happened campaign strategies and tactics would be
changed to
be optimized for a different scoring system. Also, I'm sure many red
voters

in big solid blue states (like CA or NY) stayed home (because their votes
couldn't change electoral outcome) but would suddenly have a reason to
vote.

But the main problem would be recounts. With the current system, only one
or a couple states need to do recounts. With a close vote using a popular
vote system, every state would need to recount. Like FL 2000 on steroids!
What a horrible prospect.

There were riots and protests all over the country. From watching the
news the reporters would try to get them to talk to them and all they
would do is yell vulgarities about trump, which made it on live
television. They got this one kid to talk and it started saying that
he felt like trump did not represent him then all the sudden yelled
trump is a p and ran off, very very immature. In fact all of
the protesters I saw appeared to be in that early to mid 30s and
younger group.
