Or a 420SEL---lots of cheap ones around, and fuel costs may work out
to be pretty close to the SDL depending on the gas/diesel price spread
in Snookland.  (Does a 420 really, truly require premium or is it OK
with regular like a 300E?)

No! Not likely.  But, my first car was a 1978 Olds Delta 88.  It was a total 
piece of crap. But, I bought it from my brother for $50 and I was 16. So, I

Im not sure.  I keep seeing my old BMW that I sold 18 months ago. The buyer 
works in the next building over.  I really liked that car.  I really like my 
E320, its just too small for me.

Its cold air.  When it was 106 degrees the other day and it was just idling in 
the sun, it would cool to 70 degrees (checked it with thermostat).  While 
driving, it will cool much lower. Last year, I did buy the lazy man's gauge and 
a can of 134.  The low side pressure was 35 or so.  I added less than a half a 
can. Cooled very well.  This year, I checked it with the same gauge when it was 
over 100 degrees and pressure was 45.   But, then someone on the list pointed 
out, you are supposed to rev the engine and hold it at 2000 rpm.  When I did 
that, the pressure dropped to 38-40.  So, I have not added anything and the a/c 
is cold.

pics if anyone is interested.  Just email me off list.

Price $5500, but to listers, will sell for $5000.

This is making me laugh - - Just this weekend I noticed my Miata was running
pretty crappy rough starts and such.  Classic bad spark plugs.  I thought
Geez - I just did the spark plugs - right when I bought this car.  That was
5 years ago.  I have never kept a car for 5 years.  New plugs Saturday
morning and its like a new car.

Probably does, since by '95 the evaporator design had been

Plus a '95 runs on R134a, not R-12, so keeping it going is a lot
easier---you can just drop by FLAPS and buy the lazy man's A/C gauge
set, those cans of refrigerant and oil with a built-in low-side gauge.
  (At least until 134 becomes refrigeranta non grata after new cars
all switch to HFO-1234yf.)
