The most pragmatic approach would be to ride to the bus stop, put the bike
on the bus' front rack, ride 5 miles to the bike path, and then ride the 9
miles from there to my office opposite Nationals Park.  BTW, I boldly
predict that the Nats will win the World Series to the shock and dismay of
all baseball pundits, none of whom takes the team seriously.

I travel 59 miles each way on the highway with an elevation change of 300 feet 
that is made mostly in 2 hills. It'd be one of those where I'd have to leave 
for work as soon as I got home. I'd get in good shape though :)

I'd bicycle here but I have no desire to end up as a hood ornament.   
Only safe in groups, people drive like idiots and there is no  
shoulder, in fact usually a 3 to 6" drop off the pavement into a ditch.


Used to bike all the time in graduate school, wish I still lived  
somewhere I could.
