If those don't float your boat, grab a beautiful Mreira which came from the Big Kahuna or a main-mass endcut of a beautiful crusted NWA 11125 polymict eucrite. Also included on the page is a very nice super fresh NWA 10620 Rumuruti crusted individual with slickensides. Rarely seen on ANY stone, I have never seen it on a Rumuruti. [meteorite-list] ALERT - eBay Scam - ALERT
All- I just had a strange occurrence on eBay which became likely fraud. I was notified that I had sold a meteorite slice which I had listed from eBay (normal eBay notification). This buyer has never bought from me, so I confirmed the info via a quick internet search (she worked for an aerospace firm, so thought nothing of it). After printing the label, the buyer contacted me several minutes later stating she did not order anything but received a shipment notification from eBay. After confirming who she was and looking at her history (never a meteorite purchased in her history on eBay), I looked at the paypal receipt. It became clear that she was hacked on eBay and Paypal, and her email was changed from gmail.com to gmail.net. All of her other information was correct. I did not initially notice this discrepancy. I could only assume that the package would have been rerouted in transit to the "hacker". The victim (phewww, not me...) stated she immediately tried changing her passwords once th is was discovered but was blocked from doing so, likely due to her information being changed. Keep a close eye on your sales both ON AND OFF eBay!!! [meteorite-list] AD - New Green Chondrite!!!
List- I am happy to announce a new stone I am offering for sale. NWA 8417 is probably by far the GREENEST chondrite out there as it is loaded with orthoppyroxene throughout the matrix. It was a journey getting this stone classified, as I first thought it was a diogenite, then an ungrouped achondrite, and finally (after o-isotopes) an unique LL7 chondrite. I wanted to describe the stone as Katol-like, but was told to focus on its green color instead as it is by far more green than Katol even though it has similar clasts (Oops, I guess I just compared it to Katol... hehe). Please take a look at my site to see what is available. The color is very hard to accurately capture on camera, but CLICKING on the pictures will ZOOM and expose the green clasts within the matrix. Priced at 12/g, I don't have much wiggle room to negotiate on this one as I am already loosing money. I am keeping prices lower because each slice is stained to one degree or another (unfortunately), but at the same time each slice is LOADED with green!!! [meteorite-list] AD - New CK5 with HUGE CAI and inclusion
Good Morning List- I am using my one free ad to let everyone know I have just received approval for NWA 8385, a new CK5. Several (four) slices have a HUGE CAI(up to 12mm depending on the slice), and only two slices with that particular CAI are left. Other slices have a HUGE inclusion which appears to be the start of another CAI that never fully formed, or maybe even a gigantic chondrule. Take a look for yourself.
