[meteorite-list] Website Update
I have uploaded a major update to meteorite sphere collection website Each sphere has it's own page accessible by clicking the title on the home page. These pages contain information about the material used for each spere and a back story about how I acquired it, which I'm sure most would find boring, but it's a way for me to chronicle the growth of my collection and it answers some of the common questions I get asked about it. [meteorite-list] Website Update, Meteorite Chat Room
Hello Everybody, Still working on my website, I seem to continue to add 4-7 pages a day to it. One of the new pages today, if the subject line didn't tell you...is a meteorite chat room. While I do not in any way see this as a rival to the list here, sometimes it is easier to be able to talk back and forth in a fashion that the list does not let you do. It is after 3 in the mourning here...so after I send this I will be going to sleep likely...but I will try to spendsome timetomorrow in the room letting everyone test it out. Perhaps, if others wanted to, we could meet once a week at a certain time. (Which from my understanding is how this list started). http://www.meteoritearticles.com/chatroom.html Automated features like the chat room and my recent poll are easy work on us webmastersor at least after they are built...so I will look at ways to continue to add more to my site. Hello Bill and list, Ileft your message attached as I didn't see it get posted to the listit's funny like that sometimes. It has Bill's new e-mail address so some of you might want to update address books. Which reminds me Bill, did you get your new stock of the iron prevention stuff in? I carry strange hours and am usually up late in the late...but mostly I just don't sleep, so talking to me isnt too hard. If I'm not in the chat room...which I imagine I won't be much of the time...send me an e-mail and if I'm on-line I will pop in. I agree, no selling (please). G'day List, I've just updated my site today and have added a whole heap of meteorites to my sale page. Mostly odds and ends that I have updated. Great for someone starting a collection or looking to find a small piece with visual aspects you may not have in any of your own colection pieces. It's turned into a bit of a Bargain Basement because I don't think there is anything over $20! Some really nice little pieces too! [meteorite-list] Website Update and SALE
I dont typically put much work into my website but my computer whiz brother came to stay with me and showed me how to make frames so I spent the last few days putting up meteorites for sale. Mostly they are un-named unclassified NWA material. I have well over a hundred for you to choose from. I also have a few bensour and CR2 meteorites listed and I finally cut my new E3 so that is offered for sale also. I added a few Trilobites and Dinosaur teeth to. I should also remind everybody that I have lots of ebay auctions running to. My user id is amunre. I hope to add more material to my site regularly over the next few weeks also so keep checking back. Any sales from my website today or tomorrow is subject to a 15% discount. It is late here now so likely I wont get to respond until the morning with orders.
