[uf-discuss] Canonical List of Link @rel attribute values?
Does anyone know if there is a canonical List of Link @rel attribute values? Are there any standards, conventions, etc. anywhere? Thanks in advance. -- -Mike Schinkel http://www.mikeschinkel.com/blogs/ http://www.welldesignedurls.org/ ___ microformats-discuss mailing list microformats-discuss@microformats.org http://microformats.org/mailman/listinfo/microformats-discuss

There are several microformats which make use of the rel attribute - those could be considered conventions. -brian -- brian suda http://suda.co.uk ___ microformats-discuss mailing list microformats-discuss@microformats.org http://microformats.org/mailman/listinfo/microformats-discuss

You know after I saw this I was able to find this[1] too, which ironically is a different list! Are there any standards, conventions, etc. anywhere? Without drilling down into them all, my memory was that none of them used the Link element as it not visible; am I incorrect on that? -- -Mike Schinkel http://www.mikeschinkel.com/blogs/ http://www.welldesignedurls.org/ [1] http://www.iana.org/assignments/link-relations.html ___ microformats-discuss mailing list microformats-discuss@microformats.org http://microformats.org/mailman/listinfo/microformats-discuss

Without drilling down into them all, my memory was that none of them used the Link element as it not visible; am I incorrect on that? --- they are just defined for the rel attribute, so they can be used on both the link and the a, but for microformats we are only concerned with the visible data, and there for the rell attribute on a -brian -- brian suda http://suda.co.uk ___ microformats-discuss mailing list microformats-discuss@microformats.org http://microformats.org/mailman/listinfo/microformats-discuss

At the moment I'm only interested in LINK, so I guess my question was off-topic, but I was pretty sure someone here would know and wasn't sure exactly where the question would have been more appropriate. -- -Mike Schinkel http://www.mikeschinkel.com/blogs/ http://www.welldesignedurls.org/ ___ microformats-discuss mailing list microformats-discuss@microformats.org http://microformats.org/mailman/listinfo/microformats-discuss
