Re: [Mikrotik] Ubiquiti Bullet2
I've had excellent luck with the NS5s as CPEs as well and I might even consider using a couple for very low end repeaters (a couple clients per AP). I've just been burned with lowend APs in a commercial environment. Sam Tetherow Sandhills Wireless Randall Roberts wrote: We were skeptical when we started using NS5's. As always, time will tell. I wouldn't use either as an AP as they don't have much in the way of registration info for stations, compared to the MT ap's. Nothing wrong with operating on a budget, we all have those issues, but it is one thing to go with cheap end CPE where you can ask the person to power cycle first and if it is a consistent issue to call and we can replace it. Especially if they are looking for something that is low-maintenance, spend now, the headaches of hidden cost of tech support will far outweigh the additional cost of APs.
