Re: [Mikrotik Users] Bonding for availability
I think there is better ways to accomplish what you want to do. Tend to bring in the bad with the good when bonding and wireless has plenty bad to bring in. Re: [Mikrotik Users] Mikrotik Traffic (Net) Flow?
There is a lot of different flow analyzer's, i haven't found any free, but the ones i have tried have all been rather similar. Its not too heavy on resources but less is more when it comes to flows. Probablyshould only need to watch your primary edge interfaces. Re: [Mikrotik Users] Dude opening page
It just opens up to the last panel you had open under the username. If its opening to a submap there is probably another client that is connected with the submap open. Re: [Mikrotik Users] Help with more user friendly loads on MT Routers
I didn’t see anywhere you could actually modify the html for the skins but I pretty much just went through the web interface and eliminated everything except basic ip/ipv6/ppp/bridge/routes configuration and a couple of things in the system menu and the whole tools menu. Left quickset ofcourse. I am looking specifically for something that allows them to set a static DHCP for a mac address once connected and then limit speed to that address. [Mikrotik Users] RouterOS
I know this will be full of opinion but what is everyone considering the best performing and stable release for RouterOS currently? We are pretty much running all 1036's and a 1072 right now. Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone Original message From: Blair Davis via Mikrotik-usersDate: 5/2/17 7:06 PM (GMT-07:00) To: Mikrotik Users Subject: [Mikrotik Users] Small setup... I have a small network I need to modify There are three locations, each with a RB433GL on site. Port one of each RB433GL is linked to port one of the other two RB433GL's via a wireless bridge. Port two and three each go off to a separate local LAN at each location, giving me six little LAN's that can route traffic among themselves. My client now wants to convert from six little LAN's to two bigger LAN's. He wants port two of each RB433GL to be part of one flat LAN and port three of each RB433GL to be part of a different flat LAN. Traffic between each location must move via the port one wireless links, but the LAN on port two must not see or connect with the LAN on port three and the port one links need to be transparent to the port two or three LAN's. Best way to approach this? Hopefully with no new hardware... [Mikrotik Users] Service tag and Trango Apex
Hello, I am having an issue that I'm not sure which device is causing. I have a Trango Apex Lynx that plugs in to a Mikrotik CRS. I setup a ingress vlan rule that translates this port in to an untagged svlan port, but when I do this I lose connectivity. The egress, vlan, and trunks are setup correctly. In fact there are two PTP 820S that have an identical setup that work fine, and I have two trango apex's that need to be on this same vlan but when adding them to the ingress rule that's when I lose connectivity. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Christian Palecek Chief Operations Officer Cybernet1 Inc.
