What happens if you penetrate your disk while pinging? Something like that:
dd if=/dev/sd0c of=/dev/null

Which error?

Did you move the mysql.sock to /var/www/var/run/mysql?

Hi

If you have any USB CDC devices (especially cdce(4)), could you please
send me the usbctl output?

usbctl -f /dev/usbX -d -a Y

You can load the modules on apache startup. They don't have to exist in
chroot.

Get desired NWID

2005-07-25 Thread Marc Winiger
Hi

On wi(4) wlan cards it is possible to get the desired nwid with
WI_RID_DESIRED_SSID, independent whether the card is associated to an
access point or not.

Cards with other drivers, are using SIOCG80211NWID to get the nwid. But
this value contains the actual nwid associated to, not the one I set.

I have to decide, whether the nwid is set to a name or ANY. Does anybody
know if that is possible?

System freezes - APM Problem?

2005-06-05 Thread Marc Winiger
Hi List

Since I updated Kernel to -current my System frequently freezes. I'm not
even able to build userland.

It freezes on any APM activities like switching off display, reboot or
power off. And it also freezes on using special keys (i.e. Fn-Font)

Any idea? dmesg is attached. Are there some more informations that I
could provide?

Samba / OpenBSD - Group-Members limitation

2005-05-23 Thread Marc Winiger

Hi List

We are running Samba 3 on an OpenBSD. Samba uses LDAP for all users and
groups, but every user and group has a system-account too. The
User-Group-Mapping is done in /etc/group. This file has a limitation of
200 users/group.

1. Does anybody know if there is an alternative way in samba to do the
mapping of windows users to windows groups (i.e. in LDAP)?

2. Is there a way to add more than 200 users to a group at system level?
