waa-haa-haa! :))

looks like Intel does it's job "well": sales different cards
based on different vendors' chipsets under the same brand.

anyway, gdt(4) is supported too. with minus of bioctl.

my dmesg for SRCU42X can be found here

http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=openbsd-tech&m=111667421201209&w=2

so one can just look briefly on chip: GC80302 found on SRCU42X
is LSI and will be ami(4).

Federico, what chip is on your SRCU42L?

If it's not possible to buy from another country, you might try
looking for Dell PERC cards, which are rebranded LSI. You could try
these companies:
http://www1.euro.dell.com/content/topics/topic.aspx/emea/contact/edb/latvia

Fujitsu-Siemens also use LSI raid controllers (though I think Dell
might be easier to find in Latvia).

You waited only half a day, which doesn't give people much time to
respond. Choose one of these options:

- Relax and wait a while, though by repeating the question you
made it less likely you'll get an answer.

- Search better. There are posts to misc@ that tell you whether or not
it works.

- Try one and see.

- Buy something that is listed as supported.

Why not just install OpenBSD and see? If you are considering buying it,
I would consider otherwise. Buy something known to be supported.
