It has to be asked to the manufacturer concerning the accessibility how much
it is the talkback accessible. See here in Symbian we have certain commands
to read various things, in this phone is also the same? Or how it would be.
Do you haveany tole for inquiring? Or email would also do.

Intex launches touch and type smartphone for Rs 4,990

Homegrown handset maker Intex Technologies today launched its new
touch and type smartphone -- Aqua QWERTY -- for Rs 4,990.

 The handset combines a touch-sensitive screen and a user-friendly
typing QWERT interface, aimed at offering users more choices in
the way they use their smartphones, Intex said in a statement.

The dual SIM device features a 3.5-inch display touchscreen, 1.2
GHz dual core processor, 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS, 1500 mAh battery,
512MB RAM and internal memory of 4GB (expandable upto 32 GB).

It also has a 5MP rear camera and a VGA front camera.

Aqua Qwerty is a product which offers the convenience of both
touch and type features for users who are QWERTY lovers but wish
to explore the touch experience at the same time, Intex Business
Head (Mobile) Sanjay Kumar Kalirona said.

Intex has stepped into the QWERTY keypad smartphone segment after
a lot of market research and believes that the Aqua Qwerty will be
a vehicle of smartphone adoption in the highly untapped segment of
women smartphone users in India, he added.

think: this phone is qwerty phone, meaning that this phone has
keyboard to type messages, emails etc.
most probably it doesn't has trackpad and navigation keys. – its like
previously popular Samsung galaxy chat. as far as accessibility goes,
then a friend of mine use to had intex phone and accessibility was
good. , but the down side was that that there wasn't talkback and
google tts installed out of the box. we had to manually install the

so the said phone suppose to be the same. rest, it would be great if

I am using Sony Xperia L. There are some minor issues, however, I won't
say it's inaccessible. The Xperia keyboard is not accessible. So I use a
different keyboard. And there are some unlabeled buttons in the call
screen. Despite these minor issues I like this phone. If you have some
sighted help to install another keyboard, Sony phones should be
considered as an option.

after lots of practice also you won't be able to type as fast on touch

Hi,
If a beginner wants to try this phone, it should be ausom for him/ her.
Otherwise, 512 MB ram is very less.
Intex and micromax have a wide range of service centers and tech
support as compared to a lot of other indian brands.
I have personally used intex for 2 years before buying my very own e5.
Should be a perfect replacement of old nokia phones which are still
used by us as our secondary phones.
