[Mobile.AI] should we not write to google to add Hindi language support in google TTS?

2014-09-12 Thread Surya Prakash Sharma
Hello all,
as many of us are aware that recently google has updated its TTS app
and with other things support for Japanese language has been added.
keeping this in view, i'm of the view that we should request google to
add support for Hindi in near future. I've written the same in the
review of the app on google play store. here I would like to know what
other members think in this regard.

[Mobile.AI] Need accessible keyboard for Asus Zenfone 4.

2014-09-12 Thread Mahesh S. Panicker
Hello listers,
A friend has recently bought an Asus Zenfone 4. Unfortunately, the
default Asus keyboard isn't accessible with TalkBack. And unlike the
Zenfone 5, there is no google keyboard preinstalled. I couldn't locate
the google keyboard on a playstore search either. how do I locate the
google keyboard on playstore? What other keyboard can I opt for that
is fully accessible with TalkBack. My friend has been an advanced
computer user on both Windows and Linux, and now he wants to try to be
one on Android as well. So he would want as functional a keyboard as
 possible.
 Please guide.

Hello Mahesh google keyboard is not available for indian users in the play
store. However, if you look for the apk file for google keyboard on the
web, you will be able to find one quite easily. I think it is the best
keyboard with support for Hindi also built-in. By the way, how good is the
performance of zenfone 4? Are you sure that zenfone 5 comes with google
keyboard?
thanks and regards.

Re: [Mobile.AI] Need accessible keyboard for Asus Zenfone 4.

2014-09-12 Thread Mahesh S. Panicker
The Zenfone 5 performs very well, and the 4 also is quite alright on
usual tasks. The 5 has both the Asus keyboard and the Google Keyboard
built in, and you just have to change it from settings. But the 4
doesn't have the same.
What could be an alternative to the Google Keyboard that is available
on the Playstore? Has anyone used the Jellybean 4.3 Keyboard by VLLWP?
