2014-12-10 Thread Satguru Rathi

Dear Kulkarni,

1. To achieve this, a feature called Gramularity is used in Android. There
was lot of discussion on this a few weeks back and searching the list
archives may help you to find specific answer on using Gramularity.
2. The delete button is generally located towards the bottom right on your
vertual keyboard. It is just right to the letter M.
3. When you type a name in the Search Edit box, the phone shows the list
of people matching to that along with the different numbers you might have
saved for them. You would need to explore the screen once you finish typing
your query to reach to a specific number for a person.
4. Talkback is specifically designed for those who can't read screen and is
configured to provide you the most intuitive experience on Android but you
can certainly check the different options available under
SettingsAccessibilityTalkbackTalkbackSettings. If you need to adjust the
talking speed of your screen reader, you may go to
AccessibilityTextToSpeachSpeakingRait and set the speed as per your
requirement.

With best regards,

Re: [Mobile.AI] Video call in moto G Gen 1

2014-12-10 Thread mukesh jain
hello,
its surely possible with the apps like hang outs, facetime etc.

Mobile video calls require Android 4.0 or later, and allow you to call
your Viber contacts that are using any compatible device. You can also
transfer
video calls between mobile and desktop. Additionally, you can now
easily add friends on Viber, either by entering their Viber number or
by scanning their
QR code.

Skype is also probably the most common application to chat with
someone on your
Android or computer.
You have 3 free choices with Skype chats: text chat, audio chat and
video chat. To use the video chat option, you will need to have a
front facing camera.

Another option is google+ hang out. Google+ lets you connect to a
small group of people and all chat with each other. Google calls this
a Hangout. From your Android, you need to start a normal text
conversation. You can then click the video camera icon to change to a
video chat.

A Google Hangout is similar to the chatting with someone on Google
Talk, however you can converse with more than one person at a time.
You can also stream
conversations so others can see or join.

I have been successfully making video calls with these apps. So if
you have any further douts, do get back again.
Thanks,

get wigit page.

Re: [Mobile.AI] Moderator: RE: How to Jailbreak 8.1.1 on Windows using TaiG without sighted Assistance

2014-12-10 Thread Kotian, H P
Hi
Firstly, why is the need for jail break?

In western world, handsets are offered free or at a highly reduced price
against a contract of use for a fixed asigned period.

On such phones you cannot put SIM of other carriers. It is locked to that
carrier.
You jailbreak in such situation. This is clearly a violation of contract. So,
how it cannot be illegal?
I don't know if it is currently, in the past, when such jail break phones got
an OS update, it would turn useless and unusable.

As I did mention, this topic is irrelevant in our situation, for we don't get
phones tied to carriers.

Hi sir,

with due respect, JaleBraking iPhone is not illegal in the western countries
and it shouldn't be a problem in India too, Still, Applevis.com, which is
considered to be amongst one of the best resources on the Apple products, and
few of the editorial members are quite a vibrent part to Apple's beta testing
team to provide them accessibility related inputs and none can talk about even
any new feature in Beta softwares there till the final software is released,
shouldn't have allowed this discussion on their website if this is out of the
scope on that website. Still, would be happy to learn more on this.

With best regards,
Satguru

This is by far an illegal activity, hence, it violates the list guidelines.

Its scope is irrelevant in our market. Members are warned from making such
piracy posts.

It seems like the Chinese jailbreak hackers are having some sort of race
competition going on to jailbreak the latest iOS version. As a result, the iOS
8.1.1 is now jailbreakable again, but this time it came from a different hacker
team named TaiG, however the windows software is inaccessible again for
screen reader users. So Here I am again, writing another guide to jailbreak
using the TaiG tool without sighted assistance.
However, this time I’m going to modify the common guide that you would find on
the Internet. This modification will make the jailbreaking process a bit faster
and easier for you.
Without further ado, here are the requirements:
1. The TaiG tool which can be downloaded at http://idownloadblog.com/download.
Just use the heading navigation command till you find the TaiG heading and
download the latest TaiG software.
2. A newly restored iDevice on 8.1.1 that’s still on the welcome set up screen.
Now, here are the steps:
1. Once you are on the welcome set up screen with your VoiceOver on, keep your
iDevice plug in and run the TaiG tool as administrator.
Note: The TaiG tool is in a Zip format, so you have to decompress the file to
get to the TaiGJBreak.exe.
2. Right after you open the tool, wait for at least 10 seconds for the tool to
recognize your device. Then, press the tab 3 times and then press the spacebar;
this will uncheck the box for installing the Chinese app.
3. Press the tab once and then press the spacebar to click the Jailbreak
button; Wait for your device to reboot itself. If you are using a phone you can
hold your device to feel the vibration when the device is done rebooting.
At this point you are done, and your device is now jailbroken! You can complete
the iDevice setting up process and there on the second page you will see the
Cydia app.
Congratulation! Welcome to the jailbreak world!
