Re: [Mobile.AI] google TTS now supports Hindi.
Hello Ketan, sorry for the delayed response. if you are still facing the problem with DB app, do the following: 1. when you open the app for the first time, select your prefered city. however, the first screen of the app is not accessible. you will find navigate up and search buttons on the top left and right corners respectively. below these two buttons in the middle of the screen, there are nine square shaped icons in the 3 * 3 grid.. although talkback doesn't describe these but you can hear a little sound when you explore them by touch. to select your preferred city double tap on the sixth icon i.e. third in the second row and then type the first few letters of the city in the edit box and choose the desired one from the list. you can select multiple cities. 2. now tap on the navigate up button on the top left corner and select the news category to read. hope that helps. Re: [Mobile.AI] google TTS now supports Hindi.
Hi friends, I am afraid I have to report that this support is like a half-baked cake. I have tried the TTS with Dainik Bhaskar, some Marathi newspapers etc. and no Hindi or very little is actually read. We need to write to google fast. Please do report on the list.
