<< At the Drive-In w/ Murder City Devils or Bright Eyes, Death Cab For Cutie, Pedro the Lion and Her Space Holiday? >> hey, that sucks. makes me feel slightly better about not being home in philly to see bright eyes. but hey...at least either way you'll see a great show. i'd go with bright eyes, but that's just cause i'm obsessed. .meredith.

thats kind of a weird tour cause GYBE is playing philly on Oct. 10 with Bardo Pond. S.. heres the damn dilema which is gonna be worth it? At the Drive-In w/ Murder City Devils or Bright Eyes, Death Cab For Cutie, Pedro the Lion and Her Space Holiday? some sloppy snatch schedualed the two best shows of the fall on the same damn day, ive already got the paper work in so i can buy a shotgun before this bastard skips town but until that paper work clears i need to make the decision. I know ATDI is gonna rock harder then John Wayne's impacted shit, but hell thats a fuckin nice string of bands for 7 bucks, i cant even get my dick sucked for 10 bucks... whoa is me, whats a dusty to do? dusty "cause i wont fuck a scary ho" >From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >Subject: re: [MMouse]: oh... my... fucking... god. >Date: 10 Sep 2000 17:34:38 -0800 > >i know!!! they are playing here in california on november 1st. im >creaming myself right now. atdi/murder city devils on october 4th, modest >mouse on october 6th, gybe@ on november 1st, and the i heard radiohead is >gonna tour here with either bjork or sigur ros. either would be mind >blowing. There's an interview with Isaac Brock in this month's Transworld Surf magazine. I'm pretty sure it's posted online, and I think the address is www.transworldsurf.com.

RE: Re: [MMouse]: Grandaddy on the Wedge
I think that album is okay also. The first track IS good, for about the first 3 minutes, after which it just repeats for another 5 minutes. I also like the third track and the last track (which sounds very much like radiohead's "no suprises"). --- Original Message --- "Chad McQuay" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Wrote on Sat, 09 Sep 2000 19:44:20 PDT -- I bought Grandaddy's newest album "Sophtware Slump" a couple of months ago after seeing them live at This Ain't No Picnic. Some of the songs are okay, in a "we want to sound like Radiohead's OK Computer" kind of way. The first track is amazing though. You make the call. [MMouse]: Re: Answers and Prizes
Ok, thanks for playing along everyone. Somebody answered 2, so they get a prize of some sort. Maybe a modest mouse bootleg CD of your choice if you don't already have them all. Whitney gets the hipster award for being first to holler Buffalo 66. You win a night on the town in Austin, no rush, show up whenever you can, I'll be around. It looks like I fucked up the text badly, so it might have looked like 4 quotes were all together like a greatest hits mix tape of movie quotes. Let's see if I can straighten it all out: In Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love - they had 500 yearsof democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock. Orson Welles in the Third Man! Come on, watch this movie, then Heavenly Creatures will make a lot more sense and be that much cooler. All I want to do is clean the bathroom. Martin Donovan in TRUST. "I don't know, maybe it's my fault Mathew." -- "Today I had to subvert my principals and cow tow to an idiot. T.V. Makes these daily sacrifices possible. It deadens the inner core of my being" Ohhh Shi. What the hell does that rat soup eatin' mother fucker want with me? DOLEMITE, You know business havin' insecure junk yard muther fuckers. That's because I'm not used to driving one of these shifter cars.. I'm used to driving LUXURYcars. Buffalo 66. "No, don't do your best, do it right. I don't wanna waste another 2 dollars on this. Just act like you like me... I do you like you Billy.. no act like you really like me, like were in love and were married. Were in love, were married, and we're spanning time". Is white guilt supposed to make me forget that I run a business? Robert Forrester who was the main good guy in The Black Hole as Max Cherry in Jackie Brown."Read the papers baby! You're messing with a known criminal, Nalli Vatali! SMACK SMACK SMACK". Some of the coolest things in the movie were the movies shown inside the movie. "The Day I follow aubrey hale clayton on a wet deck.. that day.. I cut my throat.." Detroit 9000!! Your name is "your wanting," and you can't play the man's game, you can't close them, and then tell your wife your troubles. 'Cause only one thing counts in this world: get them to sign on the line which is dotted. Gotthat, you fuckin' faggots? Yeah, that older Baldwin brother in Glen Gary Glen Ross - A B C Always Be Closing. A movie that will motivate you to never attempt to do anything remotely akin to selling for the rest of your life. If you don't have my money for me, I'll crack your fucking head in front of everyone in the bank. And just about the time I get out of jail, hopefully, you'll be coming out of your coma. But guess what? I'll crack your fucking head again! 'Cause I'm fucking stupid! I don't give a fuck about jail! That's my business. That's what I do. Joe Pesci in Casino.. he's so good in it.. calling out Joe Bob Brigs, cracking Don Rickles with the pay phone.. despite it's 3 hour running time I've seen Casino 5 freakin' times. Mom! Dad! It's evil! Don't touch it! Time Bandits! Woo hoo. I like my meat rare! I like mine well done, bitch. This was the bonus question. I wouldn't have gotten this one but just happened to see the end of it the other night. This is Ice T talking to Gary Bussey in SURVIVING THE GAME before he like kick flips him in to this conveniently placed fire. Word to your mother's ass crack. That's almost as good as Ice T saying, "I wanna shoot you so bad my dick is hard" in New Jack City. Shit, Ice, what the hell were you thinking? That didn't sound cool at all! It just sounded creepy and weird. Btw, Rutger Haur is also in SURVIVING THE GAME. How many times can you do that movie where some guys with high tech weapons chase bums off the street? I guess as many as you want if Rutger Haur and Gary Bussey have their say.
