Is "Christmas Song" from the new ep the same as "Christmas Steps" off the No Education... ep? I've heard both ways, that it "bears no resmemblance" and on another occasion that they "sound the exact same." I figured someone out there has both ep's and can give me a straight answer. Thanks, Brandon

[MMouse]: no mouse: jimmy eat world in tempe, az dec 10 11

[MMouse]: no mouse: trans am vs. man or astroman? conclusion
Thanks to everyone that threw in their 2 cents on Trans Am vs. Man or Astroman? After tallying all the votes, it unanimous that Man or Astroman? (opening acts included) is the show to see. I'm sure Trans Am would be awesome as well, but like someone said "sometimes you gotta make those tough decisions." My sentiments exactly. Brandon
[MMouse]: no mouse: trans am vs. man or astroman? ; and a lync inquiry
Howdy, I'm in quite a predicament, and I figured someone out there might be able to help...those in the Nashville area may be in the same boat as I. This upcoming Saturday, two great bands are coming to Nashville, TN. In fact they are playing right across the street from one another. Man or Astroman? on one side, and Trans Am the other. I cannot decide which one to see. I figured someone out there has seen one or the other (or both) of these bands during their current tour. If you would be so kind, let me in on your reaction to the show (playlist, old stuff/new stuff/mixed, energized, etc). This would be my first time to see either band, so you can see the pickle I'm in. Also, there was some talk about Lync not too long ago so I thought this would be a good time to ask, a friend told me that there was a compilation of bands covering Lync material...is this true? Thanks, Brandon PS-I was at the Superchunk show this past Sunday. It was the first opportunity I've had to see them, so I was a happy camper. I thought they did great playing through all the inconveniences...the encore was superb, so they closed on a good note.

I normally refrain from commenting on any of the issues that come across here, but...this is serious! The time has come for me to speak! HBO's cancelled Mr. Show!?! Son of a Bitch!!! Of course, what else would you expect from the same folks that told "Tenacious D" to take a hike!?! This is truly a bummer... I definitely agree that Mr. Show and the Kids in the Hall are great sketch comedy shows, but don't forget how hilarious "the State" was. TTOMO gonna make it aiight... Dmn. Did you know that this is the last season of Mr. Show? HBO canceled 'em. and me without cable. I will make the statement that Mr. Show is the funniest sketch show of all time, even funnier than the Kids in the Hall.
