[MMouse]: Help please...

2000-08-23 Thread Coreyonthebrink

Could someone please tell me how to reply to a post? I just can't get it
right. I will gladly explain why I hate the radio. They play the stupidest
bands of all time. Creed, Limp Bizkit, Korn, 3 Doors Down, Blink 182. Then
when a good song comes along, like Pedro the Lion's "Big Trucks," you never
hear of the band again. It's like the band got together to play that song,
then broke up. What's up with that? Same with "Polar Opposites" and "Center
of the Universe," played for about 3 weeks, then left to collect dust, as if
the songs and the bands aren't good anymore... damn. Anyway, I do like the
Seattle radio on Sunday nights. Anyone who wants to hear a good show that
lives in Seattle area, tune into 107.7 fm for the Young and the Restless
between 9 and 11 pm. They play NW bands like MM, Death Cab, Quasi, etc. If
you don't live in Seattle, go to www.1077theend.com and listen on the
internet. BTW, why is We Have the Facts and We're Voting Yes such a bad
cd??? I love it.

RE: [MMouse]: help meee!!!

2000-08-03 Thread Alex Silva

ok, about 2 weeks ago, i was bored at work, what
else is new right? but anyways, i was reading movie line and there was a
contest to win tickets for a special advanced screening of "Cecil B.
Demented". to make a long story short i ended up winning. so now i
have tickets for 2 people on wednesday, august 9th. the problem is that
the movie is on the same night as avail. i havent seen avail in years and
its been so long since they have come here, i dont wanna miss em! should i
pay my tribute to avail and then john waters? or john waters, and hope
that avail will come back around another time. agh!

oh, p.s. lastnight i saw dillinger
escape plan, isis and candiria and was blown away. ive seen dillinger
escape plan before and they never come short of amazing in my book, but what
stole the show for me was isis. good lord! does it get any
heavier? it sounded like a cross between noothrush, jesuit and some awsome
noise band. if anyone on this list is into music other than indie pop/emo,
check this show out, im sure it'll come to your city soon.

I can't believe you
would even consider missing an Avail show for a movie, even if it is an advanced
screening. I think the choiceis obvious!!!
Isis does rock and
I'm hoping they come to the Boston area sometime this
year.

[MMouse]: Help Me with MM shirt design?

2000-06-06 Thread Adam Kind

Open Invite -

Hey I've been working on a Modest Mouse shirt design but I ran into a
problem. The design I have needs to include the listing of their tour dates
but I'm having a problem inserting the dates so they align properly.

If anyone is willing to help me out I'll be sure to give them credit or
some other compensation for there effort (if they like). I want it to look
professional so no mspaint prodigies. E-mail me privately and I'll send you
the image I have and the list of dates.

Hey, i don't post to this list very often but I was wondering if oyu

going to add in the statistic of people who listen to indie rock and
get stoned and or drunk. I know this isn't very appropriate but it
is needed. Thanks
