[MMouse]: Superchunk
Last night I went to Nashville to see Superchunk an I was wondering if anyone else from the list went. I was curious if you could hear the vocals in the back because I was in the front (in fact Mac handed me his guitar to fuck with in the middle of "Precision Auto") and I could barely hear him. With all the shit that went wrong at the show you could really tell it was hurting their morale. They had to break 10 strings and had two bad cables not to mention people complaining about the vocals. I guess Mac's voice is too soft. Joshua
FW: [MMouse]: Superchunk/Promise Ring
i only have superchunk's incidental music 1991-1995. i think it's great. it has 100,000 fireflies, home at dawn, and the mystery song track #19 (great driving song). i'll have to check out here's where the strings come in. roberto > -- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED][SMTP:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Tuesday, October 26, 1999 12:10 AM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: [MMouse]: Superchunk/Promise Ring > > So which Promise Ring video did they play on 120 minutes...I saw the one > for > Why Ever Did We Meet, but did they air another one? > > Superchunk's album Here's Where The Strings Come In is so > awesome...however, > is that the way that their other material sounds, cuz i think i've heard > other cds and i don't remember liking them...is there anything anyone can > recommend that is similar to Here's Where The Strings Come In? > Anna >

The clones! Fuck, that band aint worth a listen since that guy StarCrunch [?] left the band. They were slated to play my friend Melissas New Years Eve Party, but they refused to play, as did the Delta 72 [another band that probably not worth being into any more, since lovely Sarah Stolfa is gone]. Hey, 300 people, 1 keg of beer, whaddaya expect? Anyone seeing the DC superchunk show? I will be there, traveling from philadelphia. * * ** * * *** everytime you open your mouth cupids get out...maria t sciarrino * * ** * * ***
