pointers to a European CA (128 bit) recognizable by both NS IE?
Hello folks. Can you point me to some European CA where we can buy a certificate from, and which is 128 bit strong, and is recognized both by Netscape and Explorer? Verisign's Global certificate didn't quite work out for us. We are using Apache with mod_ssl. Apache+modssl/openssl+mysql/php4
Hi, Is there any documentation about how to install Apache+modssl/openssl+mysql/php4, I have tried to follow the INSTALL manual which comes with modssl package, but my installation is not successfull. Is there any other documentation about how to install the above packages. Re: IE with 56 bits encryption
I've also noticed this problem with IE4.01, which I fixed for one user by upgrading to 128bit encryption. There is a fix available for "SGC cryptography" (q249863i.exe). This answers a question posted by James Lyon ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) entitled "IE4 okay with latest mod_ssl" which is very much related. Details are at http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q249/8/63.ASP?LN=EN-USSD=g nFR=0 It's not worked for me yet, but I'm going to try getting an entire 128-bit upgrade and see if that fixes it instead. I suspect it will since it's IE4's failure to cope with the negotiation for non-128-bit. Bottom line - neither is a problem with Apache-mod_ssl but a problem with Microsoft's implementation of SSL! Java and modssl
Hi, everyone. Can anyone tell me if there is any problem implementing a solution, including a java application server (BEA Weblogic, for instance) with Apache with modssl installed?
