You’re not the first person to respond this way. As you say, given you can’t
remember why you have the ownership, it’s pretty safe to delete it.

I’ve dropped your permissions on the “About” namespace.

Fwd: Add users to BIOPERLML mailing list?

The Bioperl devs have been using BIOPERLML as an ‘umbrella’ group ID for
making releases. We would like to add a few new devs to this for making
future releases if possible; is there an easy way to go about this? Or
even better, are there other mechanisms where we can do this on our own
(e.g. should we maybe set up a new PAUSE ID with an associated email for
managing this on our end)?

caused by PAUSE now considering package names case insensitively. This has left
us with some situations where people are owners of namespaces previously
considered distinct, and now considered the same.

You have ownership of the “Mt” namespace on PAUSE. This module is no longer on
CPAN, but your ownership of the namespace conflicts with SHERZODR’s ownership
of the “MT” module, which is on CPAN, indexed as part of the Net-MovableType
distribution.

To resolve this conflict, I’d like to drop your permissions on the “Mt”
namespace. From looking at your releases, I don’t think this will cause any
problems, but wanted to check with you. Are you ok with this?

PAUSE will no longer let situations like this occur, so I’m cleaning up
historical cases like yours.

Cheers,
Neil

Hi Neil,

You can drop the ownership, no problem,

Carp::Clan co-maint bits needed

2016-05-28 Thread Kent Fredric
https://rt.cpan.org/Ticket/Display.html?id=114537

Existing maintainer is happy for me to maintain it, but they don't
have first-come bits.

Only person with First-Come bits has mentioned in-thread they're fine
with whatever happening in repsonse to STBEY's "Can we have a
maintainer bit for KENTNL please?"

I'm not sure if there's a misscommunication or something, but my
expectation based on what's happened so far is asking a PAUSE admin to
make the magic happen is the right step here.

Thanks in advance.

Gearman::JobStatus
Gearman::Objects (aktually obsolete)
Gearman::ResponseParser::Taskset
Gearman::ResponseParser
Gearman::Task
Gearman::Taskset
Gearman::Util
Gearman::Worker

because all of them are belong to CPAN Gearman::Client package.
