I'm sure in the forties there was no problem picking ten really good
films to be nominated as Best Picture. These days, I'm very hard pressed

82nd Academy AwardsR to Feature
10 Best Picture Nominees

Beverly Hills, CA - The 82nd Academy Awards, which will be presented on
March 7, 2010, will have 10 feature films vying in the Best Picture
category, Academy Motion Picture Arts and Sciences President Sid Ganis
announced today (June 24) at a press conference in Beverly Hills.

"After more than six decades, the Academy is returning to some of its
earlier roots, when a wider field competed for the top award of the
year," said Ganis. "The final outcome, of course, will be the same - one
Best Picture winner - but the race to the finish line will feature 10,
not just five, great movies from 2009."

For more than a decade during the Academy's earlier years, the Best
Picture category welcomed more than five films; for nine years there
were 10 nominees. The 16th Academy Awards (1943) was the last year to
include a field of that size; "Casablanca" was named Best Picture. (In
1931/32, there were eight nominees and in 1934 and 1935 there were 12
nominees.)

Currently, the Academy is presenting a bicoastal screening series
showcasing the 10 Best Picture nominees of 1939, arguably one of
Hollywood's greatest film years. Best Picture nominees of that year
include such diverse classics as "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington,"
"Stagecoach," "The Wizard of Oz" and Best Picture winner "Gone with the
Wind."

"Having 10 Best Picture nominees is going allow Academy voters to
recognize and include some of the fantastic movies that often show up in
the other Oscar categories, but have been squeezed out of the race for
the top prize," commented Ganis. "I can't wait to see what that list of
ten looks like when the nominees are announced in February."

The 82nd Academy Awards nominations will be announced on Tuesday,
February 2. The OscarR ceremony honoring films for 2009 will again take
place at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland CenterR in Hollywood,
and will be televised live by the ABC Television Network.

[MOPO] FA: I KNOW WHERE I'M GOING: To Bruce's Thursday folded one-sheet auctions closing in 12 hours, where 536 of them are $6 each or under!

2009-06-25 Thread Bruce Hershenson
*HAVE YOU YET DISCOVERED THAT THERE IS ONE AUCTION HOUSE WHERE QUALITY
ONE-SHEETS DON'T HAVE TO COST AN ARM AND A LEG? WHERE THE POSTERS ARE
HONESTLY GRADED AND YOU GET A FREE $20 BOOK WITH EVERY PURCHASE, AND YOU
DON'T GET HIT WITH AN OUTRAGEOUS $9 MINIMUM BUYERS PREMIUM? If you don't get
what I am trying to say, then let me tell what I am talking about!
*

*Beyond the fact that our posters all start at one dollar with no reserve or
buyers premiums (so they truly sell to the highest bidder), our
"supermarket" selection lets you save HUGE on shipping. Say you find five
one-sheets to buy from five separate eBay sellers. Even if they are fairly
priced and accurately described (two big IFs!), you still have to pay five
separate shipping charges, which will almost surely eat up any savings you
might have had. But in OUR auctions, you only pay a single U.S. shipping
charge, even if you buy 100 items, so there is a massive savings, and if you
can't find multiple items to bid on in our 999 listings, then maybe you
should be looking for a new hobby!
*

If you *ARE* an active collector, tonight's set of 999 auctions, which
consist of *999 folded one-sheets* are perfect for you! I just rambled
through the gallery of these at
http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/mode/0/14.html and looked at the 999
items I have closing tonight, Thursday night (which contains no items that
you need to be wealthy to consider bidding on!), and *I** REALLY COULD NOT
BELIEVE WHAT I WAS LOOKING AT, BECAUSE I SEE PRICES THAT REPRESENT REALLY
EXCELLENT VALUES ON QUALITY ITEMS, AND SOME BEING PRACTICALLY GIVEN AWAY! I
HAD TO PINCH MYSELF TO BE CERTAIN I WASN'T DREAMING!
*

With just 12 hours to go, there are a whopping 126 of the 999 items at the
opening bid of $1 each *(AND IN TODAY'S INFLATION-MAD WORLD, WITH $3 A
GALLON GAS, WHAT DOES $1 BUY YOU ANYWAY?))*, 256 are at $2 each or under,
439 are at $4 each or under, and 534 are at $6 each or under, and those
numbers truly include lots and lots of really decent titles that you would
expect to see at $10, $20 or much more on any dealer's website (and I
promise you that there are many excellent titles in this "bottom 534")!
And almost *ALL* of the remaining 465 that are over *JUST* $6 each are at
really reasonable prices, with just 12 hours to go, and they include lots of
*REALLY* good titles, including *I KNOW WHERE I'M GOING (when did you EVER
see a one-sheet on this classic Powell/Pressburger title?), **ROMAN HOLIDAY*
*, **WILD BUNCH, FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE**, ITALIAN JOB, HIGH PLAINS DRIFTER
(and all the other great Eastwoods!),* and on and on! If you have been in
this hobby for any length of time, you *KNOW* these sorts of titles are the
most desired, and almost never sell for less than a nosebleed price
(expecially in those auctions with the "mysteriously maxed bids"), but you
may be able to get them for a somewhat reasonable price in the next 12+
hours!

Now I flat-out *REFUSE* to believe they can end at these prices (I think it
is only the weak economy causing temporary weakness in some prices, and that
once the world stabilizes, people will look back at some current prices, and
say, "I shoulda bought more"), and I am sure many of these *folded
one-sheets* will get more bids, but if you have been thinking "Where are
there good deals in this hobby?", you need look no further than these
auctions!

Go to* http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/mode/0/14.html* to check them
out for yourself. *REMEMBER!* If you are a member of my weekly e-mail club
(see below), you only have to buy 15 of these *999 items* to get a set of
all 23 of my in-print books as a free bonus! (If you somehow aren't one of
the 5,400+ members, go to
*http://www.emovieposter.com/mail/clubsignup.php*and join right now!).
*GIVEN THAT SO MANY OF THESE ARE AT $3 OR LESS, YOU ARE VIRTUALLY ASSURED TO
BE ABLE TO GET 15 OF THEM OF YOUR CHOICE PLUS THE 23 $20 BOOKS FOR AROUND
$30, AND HOW SILLY IS THAT?

**And remember that the very best thing about these auctions is that there
are no reserves, mysterious maxed bids, or buyers premiums (so they will all
really sell at these low low prices) and THAT YOU ONLY PAY A SINGLE $9 U.S.
SHIPPING CHARGE NO MATTER HOW MANY OF THESE YOU BUY, SO YOU MAY WELL BUY 20
OR 30 OF THEM FOR JUST A DOLLAR OR TWO EACH (either solely those, or in
addition to more expensive items) AND YOU ONLY PAY A TOTAL OF $9 U.S.
SHIPPING FOR ALL OF THEM!*
*
*And I don't want to read even one of those "If I had any idea item X could
sell so low, so I didn't bid" kinds of posts come Wednesday morning!

*We have a great weekly e-mail club!*
Our club has 5,417 members, and many weeks we make great bonus offers to
club members who buy multiple items from us at auction! So if there is
*ANY*chance at all that you might end up buying a number of items from
us at
auction in future weeks, then you have a *LOT* of incentive to join the club
(if you are not already a member) because we will keep on giving away
excellent prize

[MOPO] URGENT CORRECTION! Re: FA: I KNOW WHERE I'M GOING: To Bruce's Thursday folded one-sheet auctions closing in 12 hours, where 536 of them are $6 each or under!

2009-06-25 Thread Bruce Hershenson
In the below message I sent to MoPo a while ago I referenced "*AN OUTRAGEOUS
$9 MINIMUM BUYERS PREMIUM*".

I have been informed from several trustworthy sources that this was a major
error, and that there are no auctions currently running with $9 minimum
buyers premiums. I should have referred to "*AN OUTRAGEOUS $14 MINIMUM
BUYERS PREMIUM*". I apologize to anyone inconvenied by this error on my
part.

2009-06-25 Thread Kirby McDaniel
I agree with Russ here. At first I was taken back by the idea, but I
think in this category, which is voted on by all the members
of the academy, doing this presents the opportunity to spotlight five
more good films. It's one thing to say skeptically, were there
really TEN good films last year etc, but we all know that there are
good movies that get overlooked. I think it's a good move. I'll be
interested to see how they

handle the TV presentation.

on March 7, 2010, will have 10 feature films vying in the Best
Picture category, Academy Motion Picture Arts and Sciences President
Sid Ganis announced today (June 24) at a press conference in Beverly
Hills.

“After more than six decades, the Academy is returning to some of
its earlier roots, when a wider field competed for the top award of
the year,” said Ganis. “The final outcome, of course, will be the
same – one Best Picture winner – but the race to the finish line
will feature 10, not just five, great movies from 2009.”

For more than a decade during the Academy’s earlier years, the Best
Picture category welcomed more than five films; for nine years there
were 10 nominees. The 16th Academy Awards (1943) was the last year
to include a field of that size; “Casablanca” was named Best
Picture. (In 1931/32, there were eight nominees and in 1934 and 1935
there were 12 nominees.)

Currently, the Academy is presenting a bicoastal screening series
showcasing the 10 Best Picture nominees of 1939, arguably one of
Hollywood’s greatest film years. Best Picture nominees of that year
include such diverse classics as “Mr. Smith Goes to Washington,”
“Stagecoach,” “The Wizard of Oz” and Best Picture winner “Gone with
the Wind.”

“Having 10 Best Picture nominees is going allow Academy voters to
recognize and include some of the fantastic movies that often show
up in the other Oscar categories, but have been squeezed out of the
race for the top prize,” commented Ganis. “I can’t wait to see what
that list of ten looks like when the nominees are announced in
February.”

The 82nd Academy Awards nominations will be announced on Tuesday,
February 2. The Oscar® ceremony honoring films for 2009 will again
take place at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center® in
Hollywood, and will be televised live by the ABC Television Network.

The old John Kisch reportage showed five one sheets of I KNOW WHERE

This venerable title, competing as my favorite Powell-Pressburger with

The use of the tartan colors red and green is a thoughtful touch by the

I agree with Russ here. At first I was taken back by the idea, but I
think in this category, which is voted on by all the members
of the academy, doing this presents the opportunity to spotlight five
more good films. It's one thing to say skeptically, were there really
TEN good films last year etc, but we all know that there are good movies

see how they

If they want to be innovative, maybe they could use the extra five slots to
showcase lower budget worthy "little" movies. Or have 5 picks for "over $100
million budget" and 5 for "under $100 million budget"

I just hope Simon Cowell doesn't express his views of the nominees on the
show.

If they want to be innovative, maybe they could use the extra five slots
to showcase lower budget worthy "little" movies. Or have 5 picks for
"over $100 million budget" and 5 for "under $100 million budget"

I just hope Simon Cowell doesn't express his views of the nominees on
the show.

think in this category, which is voted on by all the members

Beverly Hills, CA - The 82nd Academy Awards, which will be presented on

I had and have no problem with the five pictures voted on by the nominating
committee.
Though I like and admire most of the films you named, I wouldn't call them
"better" than 3 of the 5 nominees, though certainly some of them are
nomination-worthy, no question.

The best picture category is in fact open to films from around the world as
long as they play for a week in LA.  In my opinion this opens up the category
to much better films that tend to fall through the cracks.  For instance the
best picture nominees from 2008 probably would have included worthy films like
The Dark Knight, The Wrestler, Iron Man, Wall-E and may have even included some
exceptional films like Happy-Go-Lucky, In Bruges, Man on Wire, Gomorrah, Frozen
River and Burn After Reading.  There are 10 films right there that were better than at least 3 of the 5 that were nominated.

2009-06-25 Thread Tom A. Pennock
This reminds me of the day Elvis died on August 16th, 1977. It will
definitely be an event in the way it is covered by the news media. There
certainly is a lot more technology electronically wise for mass coverage. It
will
be interesting to see how this coverage develops in today's modern world
media wise.

[MOPO] MICHAEL JACKSON

2009-06-25 Thread McDaniel Kirby

Michael once left a message on the answering machine at MovieArt
asking to purchase a six-sheet we had. I was out to dinner, so I never
spoke with him.

Arguably the biggest living (now not) pop star in the world. In solo
acts, only Elvis exceeds him in fame, I would think. But maybe not,
because the market was so much larger in Michael Jackson's era.

The Beatles individually, too.

Will Paul finally get the rights to the Beatles music, now?
Another chapter will follow in his so-far elusive attempt to
regain Beatles' publishing.

Was it such a big surprise?
Though he was particularly quick off the mark on this one.
And well, admittedly, those crappy Taiwanese badges are even less

I mean, doesn't he know that's what we expect him to do?

Re: [MOPO] MICHAEL JACKSON

2009-06-25 Thread Bruce Hershenson
He bought many items from me (mostly Shirley Temple and other child
stars) through his right-hand man, David Guest (who was a greasy-haired
weirdo, who re-created himself years later as Mr. Liza Minelli, short-haired
weirdo).

Earlier, in the late 1980s, he (Michael) was at a Doug Wright show I was
selling at, wearing wacky make-up that made him look deformed (so no one
would recognize him), and he asked me in a weird whisper if I had any
Shirley Temple items, and I told him I had great ones at home, and gave him
my name and number, but he never followed up.

Re: [MOPO] MICHAEL JACKSON

2009-06-25 Thread CK MacLeod
My family had a home near the Jacksons' Encino house during the Beat It! and
Thriller days. It was near what once upon a time was Clark Gable's estate,
on Hayvenhurst a block or so south of Ventura Blvd if you know the area at
all. All day long there would be people gathered just staring at the gate,
day after day. Nothing else to see - just a narrow driveway, hedges, and a
big iron gate with a spikey top. One day as we were driving by, it happened
to open and a burnt orange-colored (that's how I remember it) limo emerged:
My family and I made a pretend big deal out of it - as though we were just
as impressed as the shouting and waving mooks on the street. Maybe we were,
or at least I was on some level, since it's 25 years later and I still
remember the day.

Re: [MOPO] MICHAEL JACKSON

2009-06-25 Thread Susan Heim

Sad day. The guy was so talented. He collected many things. We use to run movie
poster and paper memorabila show here in L.A. that he would attend. This was
back in the early 80's. He use to buy all kinds of interesting things and loved
movie posters. I had a friend who family owned a shop on Hollywood Blvd. called
Book City and he was in there regularly in the late 70's and early 80's. He
would hang there for hours going through old National Geographic magazines. He
was a very quiet person, obviously pretty shy. I was looking forward to hearing
new music from him and hopefully a successful concert tour that would get his
life back on track. So sad to hear the news..and as for Mr. Mexican Lobby
card...your "shock" posts have long worn off. Hiding in the annonimity of the
internet with bad behavior is extremely cowardly!! Do you have nothing
positive to contribute from your sorry situation?

Re: [MOPO] MICHAEL JACKSON

2009-06-25 Thread Rixposterz

I remember being at a movie poster show in a Hollywood hotel (not the
Roosevelt) about 25 years ago (long before the Courts Shows started)---and
suddenly there where whispers among the crowd that Michael Jackson was there.
After a few minutes, he walked by me, wearing a fedora pulled down over his
face and his trademark surgical mask. Surprisingly, no one appeared to
bother him at all (although there was no hiding the fact that he was Michael
Jackson).
He seemed to be a truly troubled spirit, but arguably the greatest
performer in all of our lifetimes. I've never been a huge fan of his, but I'd
give him the nod over Elvis. Just think of all the millions of fans around
the world who are deeply affected by this tremendous loss. I don't think any
other entertainer will ever fill the void---as strange at times as it may
have been. Sure, he had flaws--gigantic at times--- but his talent and
musical vision will always be remembered with respect and fondness,
I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but one of our fellow
movie poster dealers/collectors, Deke Richards, co-wrote probably a dozen
Jackson 5 songs, including some monster hits (A.B.C. is just one that comes to
mind). He knew Michael before all the changes began---to his face and
otherwise...

I never understood this comes in three curse. You can always count any
event you want (death, birth, pregnancy etc.) in multiples of 3,4 or 23.
I think it's just silly.

As for the Mexican lobby card king, I don't agree at all with what he
said. It was tacky and tasteless but I disagree even more with those who
think censorship is the way to go. We live in America, not Iran. If you
feel strongly about it, don't bother opening this guy's e-mails.

Is that absolutely necessary?
Has he really been doing a such roaring trade in Mexican lobby cards

Are people now wrestling with their consciences to resist the

there is I'd go with that...

Unbelievable, really, really unbelievable...

Hey,

Those of us who deal posters, etc. can be "vultures" to one degree or

Re: [MOPO] MICHAEL JACKSON

2009-06-25 Thread Tom Martin
nteretseing point about Deke Richards.. I did not know this however that
was a great great song
and I like the breaks in it and the harmonic guitar and structure...
Deke should speak up..

I never sold to Jackson that I know of except one time a Guy called that
seemed like him and asked about this armour I sold.. he giggled... that
why i thought it may be him...

and some Guy in Toledo worked for him and we were told not to ask
anything about hil as he wouldnt speak.

In my case in the 80s I was in NYC and brought home stuff like posters
as street vendors werer selling it... this was like 83? I cant
remember well we sold 30,000 worth o posters and gloves and all in
a few weeks
and had to hire two off duty Toledo police to allow 20 people at a time
in the 700 sq foot shop'
It was like selling fircrackers as people would take everything we had
button, tshirts and poster and gloves and all. strngely I could have
sol 4 x whate we did... But it was differant from anything I ever
experianced..
so I couldnt belive it... I received a Roll of 300 posters and the
supplier sent 300 more COD and I accepted sold tehm all Out in a matter
of days... who could gage it?The kids had BIG smiles and were
danceing in the shop..

after the sale we erected a Fence in our backyard the stockade kind... I
would say " Thats the fence that Michael Jackson built" as we used some
of the funds to pay for the 2000.00 fence

As far as the comments by fellow Moper that posts about the dead. to
me he serves a purpose and should be considered as tthat he must have
had a trauma in his life... perhaps someon he loved or admired passed
away and it hurt him to the point of disrespecting other as he felt
cheated...so In a way each time he comment he feels he can create a
balance for his hurt by hurting others... It seems to me these people
actually are crying out... because he has tryed to intetionally
humiliate others for his owm amusement.. instead of seeing his
depravity... look at the sadness this man must harbor. I personally
feel sorrow for these people and hope they can find redeemption, and
peace because to harm otehers for thrills or sell to capitalize on the
tragic part
jsut helps no person.. especially when you lose a long time friend or
family member or pet or anyone you have respected.
wehether we liked Jackson or whatever all humans should be given some
sort of forgiveness .. although
I agree its very hard if not the hardest thing to do .. ever..
especially when Innocence is there or older weaker people.. or like Neda
the Iranian woman who lost her life for sake of peace///
The people that control, abuse , and use others and discredit,
humiliate for the sole purpose of hate and
to scoff at those that are also troubled is just plain without any
purpose and shows me that they are
only seeking reaction in the only way they can get the attention by
causeing hurt or suffering

Its no accomplishment and will not be remembered in peoples hearts
The only way I see for this individual to find peace is to stop and
consider his own Family and if people
made fun of him when his loved ones passed.. perhaps then he will
understand why its not humorous and why when people are in pain or
suffering loss .. we are best to be supportive , and respectfull to others

For fellow Mopoers I feel your anger and hurt and discust... however
consider that the person that
would conduct themselves is not healthy in spiit and we should pray that
they get better.
and not have to suffer the same things tehy have been suggesting about
others.

The person may feel a need to have a cathartic release to quench thier
own personal sadness.
To hear that Micael loved movie stuff shows he would have enjoyed the
people of Mopo
and just as we respect one another we should respect the passing of Ed,
Farrah and Michael

as thier Familys are also suffing at momnet
peace

Re: [MOPO] OT OKAY HOW MUCH TIME IS APPROPRIATE?

2009-06-25 Thread Phil Edwards
It's easy. You don't want to read someone's posts, just use the block sender
function that can be found on most mail programmes.

Someone, years ago, on MOPO sent me an email and told me they were doing just
that because of something I said that offended them.

For all I know, most of MOPO might block my email messages via MOPO (or
anywhere else for that matter).

It's called "self censorship" if you like. Like the delete key or the
"off"switch for other media/use. Or take note of discretionary advice on film
ratings, whatever.

Take it from someone who used to live under one of the most draconian of
censorship regimes (political and all the arts) and yes, I mean Australia
censorship and banning is NOT the way to go - as we are learning yet again,
under what is supposed to be an "enlightened" "liberal" centre-Left government.

Scarey times.

I don't buy the comes in three deal either. I think we would be at 5 anyway
because M. Jackson should count as at least three himself-The Good (Great), The
Bad (Tragic), and The Ugly (Unfortunate). I can remember loving to watch the
Jackson 5 on T.V. singing A.B.C. I can remember that almost as well as watching
the Beatles on Ed Sullivan. And I don't remember much. I find it

hard to stop watching the coverage tonight.

It would have been fun if musicals would have been popular in the '70s and
Michael would have made one or two movies. I said fun not great, but who knows?

As far as the card king, please no Good, Bad, and the Ugly Mexican Lobbies for
at least 2 weeks.

As far as pamdering recently passed artist for the sole purpose of
commercializing of the hardship or death

in my opinion is just tacky... In my case just before mr Jackson died
today.. I spoke to a magazine dealer
that I wanted to buy monster mags , beatles and he said I have some
Jacksons stuff well years ago he offered them and I have soem " the
jackson story" however I told him today I tried to sell some to the
Motown museum in detroit and they didn sell. yet 1 hour later Michael
died.. and I thought.. well now

they would sell... there were pallet full.. will I sell them

NO.. why??? - respectwhen Linwood Dunn died I knew his
Daughter and knew I could get all kinds of stuff includeing the fire

NOPE- After they have been gone awhile its ok in my opinion.. But there
needs to be a period of allowing respect to rule.. saem withe the
Family when people die they need time as they are vulnerable because
they have had loss... these dealers that go in while the family is upset
are not being honest or fair in my opinion.

However each dealer has there own set of standars and should not
consider mine as a Rule of thumb.

Ive lost many many many deals because I would not inquier and others did.

as far as joking about death.. My mom and I and brother made all kinds

I was very lucky to have that experiance... so yes Humor helps when

Perhaps some of you are right about allowing people on MOPO the freedom to be
complete idiots.

I probably acted too hastily in my seconding Rod be removed from MOPO as this
was the second post of his this week which I found offensive, ignorant and
showed a total lack of humanity.

In the future I may say or do something stupendously grotesque as well. I hope
you will forgive me in advance of that day.

Till then I'll be curious as hell to see where the line is finally drawn with
this bozo.

Im for free speech also and when I hear thers a Nazi ralley... my answer
is to not attend it or go and
stand ther as in just feeds the hate so taking people off the list
because they like to be biggots or
ant jew... doesnt stop the same... what I think turns people hearts is to be
educated and learn there are many grey areas in life.. But nothing surpasses
Love and peace and understanding amony all peoples

As far as pamdering recently passed artist for the sole purpose of
commercializing of the hardship or death

in my opinion is just tacky... In my case just before mr Jackson died today..
I spoke to a magazine dealer
that I wanted to buy monster mags , beatles and he said I have some Jacksons
stuff well years ago he offered them and I have soem " the jackson story"
however I told him today I tried to sell some to the Motown museum in detroit
and they didn sell. yet 1 hour later Michael died.. and I thought.. well now
they would sell... there were pallet full.. will I sell them

NO.. why??? - respectwhen Linwood Dunn died I knew his Daughter
and knew I could get all kinds of stuff includeing the fire engine model from
Its a mad mad mad mad world..
and so I didnt call another dealer bought it. same with
Carson stuff and I happen to have a
standee of Ed Mcmahon ive had years _ NOT for sale If I had
farrah... and earlie r I was sent a email with all the farrah posters..

NOPE- After they have been gone awhile its ok in my opinion.. But there
needs to be a period of allowing respect to rule.. saem withe the Family
when people die they need time as they are vulnerable because they have had
loss... these dealers that go in while the family is upset are not being honest
or fair in my opinion.

However each dealer has there own set of standars and should not consider
mine as a Rule of thumb.

Ive lost many many many deals because I would not inquier and others did.

as far as joking about death.. My mom and I and brother made all kinds of
death Jokes as she was dieing in a Hospise and found it a great experiance to
be holding her hand as she took her last breath...

I was very lucky to have that experiance... so yes Humor helps when times are
stressed and sad...

Re: [MOPO] OT OKAY HOW MUCH TIME IS APPROPRIATE?

2009-06-25 Thread Brek Anderson

I replied to a Mopoer individually, not as a reply to all, suggesting Obama
wasn't that green when he left a carbon footprint bigger than driving a Hummer
for several years by just going on a date to New York for one evening. I was
told to keep my politics to myself. That was hypocritical as it gets since for
the past years on MOPO one of every three or four emails bashed Bush. I think
it is best we slow down the pile on negativity of which I just did some as well
in a previous post. I don't like being censored either, just because someone
disagrees with me. No I am not a racist because I dared to criticize Obama.
