I love how they still refer to themselves throughout the press release as 
"eBay" whilst launching a new logo that completely dispenses with the capital 
B.  

It communicates effectively that this is a company who's upper case doesn't 
know what its lower case is doing.

Looks like something generated by someone in an IT department, but logo changes 
usually come with a lot of expensive bullshit so hopefully they did get royally 
screwed by a design company. Can just imagine the moronic marketing managers 
nodding away in approval at the nothingness of that.

[MOPO] RKO/Howard Hughes Poster Sale and Auction

Hello Everyone,
 
  I wanted to make an announcement regarding an auction slated to happen 
October 2, 2012, from 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.,  here in Los Angeles at the 
Promenade at Howard Hughes Center, 6081 Center Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90045. 
 
  The collection belong to a friend of mine, Richard Holland, who passed away. 
This collection was acquired over a 25 year period and includes hundreds of 
posters, lobby cards, stills and other memorabilia. Most of it is archivally 
framed. His widow, Mary, is auctioning off the collection to benefit a very 
worthy cause, the Los Angeles Foster Youth program.  You can get further 
information about the event and a complete list of items at

Facebook.

[MOPO] Charlie Chaplin poster - information needed

Hi to you all
I have an early Charlie Chaplin long daybill poster titled "His Day Out" 
(probably retitled for the Australian release) but I am having trouble working 
out exactly what the US original title of the film was.

I am guessing that it could be for "By the Sea" which was also known as
