[MOPO] Australian lobby cards

[Sales]

Hi all

 

I have a couple of lobby cards which I think are Australian releases. The
ones I specifically refer to are at the links below. If anybody can confirm
their origin and how much they might approx be worth I would be grateful. I
checked on Bruce's & Grey's auction history websites but there is no record
of them as well as anything that might be remotely close to them on eBay.

[MOPO] Artfact On line Bidding - not recommended

[JOHN REID Vintage Movie Memorabilia]

I have just attempted to bid live on an auction through Artfact and there were 
intermittent issues throughout, some of which prevented me and presumably 
others from bidding on various lots. I was able to win two lots but there were 
times when the button to bid was out of sinc with the actual bidding making it 
impossible to bid. I'm certain that this would have cost the consignors money. 

Not sure if anyone else has had any problems with Artfact but I wouldn't 
recommend them based on my experience today.

the last few years I was so amazed I made it from being near dead,
all the world issues and well it isnt dec21 yet but I thought maybe i
would see Tommys 26th birthday on the dec23...

Its been a long hard road.. but I was stsring to think I could help
non profits, and I was getting my passion back to create and love of
memorabilia...and wanted tostsrt moving and excercizeing... I was
actually at my computer try to list Books to a guy that called me
from washingto state and wanted books on cameras and projection.
when the news break came on... 27 people killed by young man at
school...

well... My mind just froze... and i started to think about all the
kids. see on facebook my enjoyment was to hear about people
babaies, the accomplishments of their kids, photos , milestones,
achievments... that and pets and peoples vacatins... became my
homebound way to see life and livings Joy esp proud pap Bruce who
has so many kids and they all seem to do all kinds of stuff..
My own son who I remember so vivid as a small wonder of creatitivity
who Tonight is haveinga CD release party downtown...

So I deceide I would sleep it off... well my body decided.. and i
just turned off the TV and slept.. then 12 non as i was still in bed
my next door neighbor called me... they are like norman rockwell
family and i had the luxery of seeing them since 2007  grow a
familyof two Daughters,,, Grace and Olivia... believe it or not..
movie actress names... they are so sweet and so energetic... well the
dad wanted to stach thier Christmas gifts with me !! a Guita and a
keybpard well.. Icould barely answer th door as i was still in my
depressed stupor...  so when he came I asked him how he felt and was
there anything we could do to prevent this from happening at his kids
school... we agreed we could do nothing... so I told him how i felt
and asked if i seemed like i was going overboard. he said NO we
all feel that way then a customer called me on the phone... I
said well im not doing real good.. im tring to list on ebay but it
aint happening yet.. because im in a vapor lock .. Im sorry... as I
could use the money badly... 
so I asked my neighbor if its normal not to be baele to cry...  and
whats odd// is I have no answers... no questions other then why are
people so angry to harm kids... and whats the answer?? all I could
think was God and prayer yet people have been scoofing like Bill
Maher and saying there is no God so Ive thought well since march
ive been asking God for guidence if there is No God... then the world
is Toast my logical critaical thinking brain says... as none of this
movie makes sense to me... other then God s plan of salvation..
nothing... so anyways... then I thought of my neighbors again .. they
are good people just want to live, play and share memories..they even
have a dog that looks like TOTO from wiz of oz.. in the sumer they go
o the lake... the Girls take all kinds of sports, they came by at
halloween and are very considerate... and I thought what if it was
them taken out by some kid like those in CT.. yo not hear their
morning gigles and hear them playing would be such a loss.. ... well
I dont drink, or di drugs,, and i dont wish to harm anyone, I am not
angery at anyone I am at a loss...of words of what I can say...
except my feeble attempt to tell my poster friends  my concerns about
my own sanity from all these experiences... my own belief is that I
simply pray to God as all thats sounded like a good plan was based on
Gods words.. IF that means nothing then.. who knows // if it matters
then hopefully we all can find peace and hope and love and
meaning..heck I was a volunteer for Barack obama and thought the
republicans gave me a hard time But the worldwide distaters and
the unbalance of Society and world leaders just seems more intense
then ever and the earth does seem to be turbulant more then I ever
have felt in my heart and soul... My question is.. is it just me or
can others feel it also...??  I have seen it in people who dont
answer calls... dont seem to be spiritually  careing and have lost
hope and become cynical... yet ive seen many who are aattempting to
help others and share love and kindness... like it is a war between
spiritual powers that be... I can understand how people woudl doubt
me as I fit the criteria of what society calls a loser... but what
about the rest???
what do you see is happening and where your world is going.? I plan
to keep on my path and hope to help others and do positive things and
not allow the world to unravel..   and I dont ever want to lose sight
of kids and elderly and those in need... I just wish I could do
more...then Rant.. Bless everyone and your families..

feel like crying but its a feeling that i cant explain as we all sit
on the edge of the financial cliff, the recent election woes, the end
of year uncertainty the recent hurricane, and lifes typical blues..

I had just been spending the last week counting my blessings and
thinking I would heal up and just carry on that even
 though the DEC21
end of world ending was predicted that I felt I would still be here
to celebrat my sons Birthday on the Dec 23 and Christmas///
 so when this happened today and I even saw the President wipe tears
and newscasters   choke up and the facebook people liht up with
prayers .. I thought simply as a parent and what that kind of shock
would do to a family as our kids are the most sensitive parts to
life.. and future,,, all I could think was that God must have a plan
and this must be to show us how senseless killing is at any age or
anyplace on earth at any time...for any reason.. but syill I couldnt

 Well, Tom, I don't know what to say... it almost happened right here in 
Bartlesville, OK. 

 A similar tragedy narrowly averted. This teen was once my wife's client years 
ago when she was a social worker. It's a confusing world, folks.

answer and i know i am noone to give advice as im in shock also ...
so all I can think is sadness to this event.. I wish everyone peace
and love and comfort from this meaninglless sensless event...I hope
we an all pray for those familys that are suffering today.. God bless
well im at a loss to explain why this type stuff happenes except its
a reflection of our worlds state or despair
