Hi Birders, We will have a Bird walk on Wednesday August 26th at 8:00 am at Westwood Nature Center in St Louis Park! There’s a detour on Texas by 394! Take Cedar lake Road to Texas! Meet in Parking lot and Bring binoculars, water, bug spray, and a face mask! We will bird for about 21/2- 3 hours! If you can stay afterwards to tour the New Nature Center Building! [mou-net] Hooded warbler
There has been a Hooded Warbler that has been singing at Westwood Hills Nature Center all morning now (June 16). There has been only brief visual, but it has been singing close and loudly. It has been singing most prominently on the north eastern portion of Basswood trail, when it starts heading downwards. A more detailed map can be found at the Front Desk of the Interpretive center.
