Re: Problem with MQSeries
Thanks for your help, its being appreciated.when rebooting of the servers that particular MQServices also restarted at that time why Queuemanager getting shut down without shutting down the applications first. That's an expected error if you shut down the qmgr without shutting down the applications first. Look further to determine what is filling up your disk. -Original Message- From: Karthikeyan Senthilnathan [SMTP:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Monday, October 27, 2003 7:18 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Problem with MQSeries Hi, The problem was whenever we rebooting of the servers that particular drive became full which all applications (DB2, MQSeries, etc ) were installed. We found that the problem with MQSeries, and reason code is 2161. Found following details using reason 2161 An MQI call was issued, but the call failed because the queue manager is quiescing (preparing to shut down). When the queue manager is quiescing, the MQOPEN , MQPUT , MQPUT1 , and MQGET calls can still complete successfully, but the application can request that they fail by specifying the appropriate option on the call: MQOO_FAIL_IF_QUIESCING on MQOPEN MQPMO_FAIL_IF_QUIESCING on MQPUT or MQPUT1 MQGMO_FAIL_IF_QUIESCING on MQGET Has anyone ever come across this and if so what the solution is. Any help will be appreciated.
