  Hi
  Nadi

  I
expect, security switch(es...) have been defined but no access
  profiles...

  Try
  this one first:

Define in the class MQADMIN the profile .NO.SUBSYS.SECURITY where is the subsystem name.
After refreshing the profile, recycle the queue manager. This should turn off
any security check. I expect, everything will then work, as this way, no
  security check should happen.

Afterwards, switch on security to fit your needs. Eg, if you dont
need connection to be checked, define in MADMIN .NO.CONNECT.CHECKS. For all type of resources without a '.NO.'
profile, security will be checked and you have to define corrsponding rules,
eg. 'RDEFINE MQCMDS .CLEAR.QLOCAL UACC(NONE)' and 'PERMIT
  .CLEAR.QLOCAL CLASS(MQCMDS) ACCESS(ALTER)
ID(group_which_is_allowed_to_do_so)'. Dont forget to delete the
  .NO.SUBSYS.SECURITY... ;-)

Check your system setup guid, chapter 'using RACF classes and profile',
hope, it's also useful with top secret...

  Regards

  Guido

We use
the candle command center for both the mainframe monitoring and unix. The
biggest issue is the amount of cpu it uses.
We
also have System automation which can be used to pick up any log messages and
send alerts to the operators.

Hi all ,
I have been contacted by one of our developers who needs help with the following problem, as I am on the OS390 I could not help out, can someone please help him.

tks

good morning to you.

I'm trying to develop an application using JMS and IBM in a PUB/SUB paradigm.

Everything goes fine until I decided to have durable subscriber with a different queue to what is used as the default.

I can't locate documentation describing the error code - maybe you know of a location where I can lookup my error?

javax.jms.JMSException: MQJMS3021: Invalid subscriber queue prefix: (my queue name in here)

Thanks
