Re: MQSI Control Center - Urgent
Hi, All are running in the same server. I have even applied the CSD2 where it says problem is fixed, but of no use still i am hitting BIP1350E. What i noticed is configuration manager agent is not starting, hence control center can not connect to config manager. Is there any way to start only the config manager agent? and also i noticed that i can able to start the service either from commands or through NT services, but when i try to stop the services it hangs, each time i need to kill the services. Even creating broker/database/config manager no problem. I can able to start both the services. But when i start control center same error. "operation time out". What i missed here is MA88, but i am sure it is not the pre-requisites. I am only left with the option to re-install the OS. Appreciates any valuable inputs on what other areas i need to look into. Regards Rao <<< Is the Control Center on a separate box than the Config Mgr? If so there was a problem where logonInfo.dll and logonInfo.pdb would not be installed on the Control Center after CSD01 was applied...the symptoms are the control center starts but can't connect to the config mgr...simply copy the above files from the config mgr bin dir to the control center bin dir and the problem is resolved... MQ-R/3 Link - Urgent
Hi, Actually i have posted this question earlier also. Highly appreciates if any immediate response. I have setup the MQ R/3 Link and i can able to send and receive IDOCs. But I noticed that Inbound server will deliver successfully if IDOC size is around 14-16K(smaller IDOCs) and if i send bigger IDOC of size around 40-45K, IDOC get delivered in parts and SAP can not able to read and report error. I have setup "maxidocsize" in "INI" to 2000 and not using any user exits. What i am missing here? or is there any limitation on the inbound server? or With what buffer inbound server reads IDOC from queue and how it will process? Thanks in advance Regards Rao Instructions for managing your mailing list subscription are provided in the Listserv General Users Guide available at http://www.lsoft.com Archive: http://vm.akh-wien.ac.at/MQSeries.archive
Re: MQ R/3 Link
Hi, Thanks for your reply. Actually i set the "maxidocsize" in "ini" to default. I tried to send 2 IDOCs of size 12K and 42K, IDOC of size 12K delivered succesfully at SAP, but IDOC of size 42K delivered in parts and SAP could not read and reported error. These two IDOCs when i send through Mercator directly to SAP no problem. But when i send through MQ R/3 Link getting this problem. Is there any internal buffersize need to specify for inbound server? or with what buffersize inbound server reads messages from inbound queue. However, I am not sure what you mean by "...it will segment ...". Does the R3LInk actually change your IDOC? (What version of SAP / R3Link are you using?) Note that the maximum size of the IDOC>EDIDD>SDATA field (the part of the IDOC that contains the "actual" data) is 1000 characters. In SAP the data structure of the IDOC segment is therefore <= 1000 characters long. So, if your "message" is larger than 1000 bytes long, it will fail. However, if your message contains a repeating structure which is <= 1000 characters long, you must create another EDIDD structure for each repetition. (IDOC consists of EDIDC structure which does not repeat and an EDIDD structure which may repeat as many times as you like (taking note that the number of repetitions for any segment is set in SAP.)) Re: MQ Security - AS/400
Jonas, Thanks for your reply. I am using MQ5.2, and added the group profile qmqmadm to the user as a group profile with *ALL access. Even then this user can not access all the commands. Is this because i have not refreshed the qmgr security cache? or did i miss anything? Regards Rao -Original Message- From: MQSeries List [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Jonas Nyberg Sent: Tuesday, May 14, 2002 10:31 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: MQ Security - AS/400 Rao, It depend on wich MQ version you are running. For MQ v4.2.1 you shall add the group profile qmqm to the user as a group profile. For MQ v5.2 you shall add the group profile qmqmadm to the user as a group profile. Remember to run the rfrmqmaut command afterwards to refresh the qmgr security cache. You shall be VERY careful adding those profiles to users because it will give them unlimited access to all MQ objects. If you need to define linited authorities for a group of users create a group profile and grant the proper authority in MQ to this one.
