Re: Applying HIPER PTF on AIX for CSD03...
Thanks guys, The fuser -fux file name is what worked. I found the culprit (it was an application that was linking libraries, but not connected to the queue manager). However, even after stopping those applications and doing another fuser -fux and not getting a response...we were still unable to copy the libraries like the documentation states. Instead, we did have to delete the 2 files as root and then copy in the new ones. Therefore, it's working now...but not the way it states in the readme. Try using the fuser command with the ABSOLUTE pathname not the RELATIVE pathname as specified in your reply. Re: Applying HIPER PTF on AIX for CSD03...
Make a note of the current file ownership/group/permissions. As root, delete the file. As root, copy the new file in and set its permissions to the original values. You could then do an slibclean from root, or recycle the box, or something ,to ensure that these latest libraries are picked up... you may have guessed I'm not an AIX guru... but this will get around your problem.
