I think Xemacs doesn't understand server-start. If I remember correctly,
the Xemacs equivalent is provided by 'gnuserver' or 'gnuserv' or
'gnuclient'. Sorry for being so vague, but if you look in your
xemacs bin subdir, you should be identifiable to identify the executable
that does this.

A related question: if you use emacsclient for this (NOT Xemacs), how do
you get the client window to go away after C-x #? Thanks,

problems writing to local folders

2000-01-24 Thread Pierluigi Miraglia

Running mutt-1.0pre3us-1 under RH 6.1, using IMAP.

When I try to save/copy msgs from my imap inbox to local folders (in my
~/Mail directory), I get this error:

fnctl: No locks available (errno = 37)

No msg gets written to such folders (not even my outgoing messages). Also,
the same error msg pops up when mutt is first started (though the messages
in the inbox are always found correctly, it seems). Do you know what's
going on?

I recently upgraded from 0.95, which was working flawlessly (under RH
6.0). Thank you for help,
