[MLO] Re: No Option to Setup Wi-Fi Sync
Please make sure you checked WiFi module when installing the latest MLO desktop. Please note that if a firewall or an antivirus are blocking MLO WiFi server it will not work on your PC. Make sure you added corresponded exceptions to your system. Andrey. On Jun 24, 5:49 am, reo4ua raymondeow...@gmail.com wrote: Latest version downloaded. [MLO] Join Private beta team to test new MLO-Desktop UNICODE version
We have just released new PRIVATE beta for MLO-Desktop 3.6.0 -Unicode to the beta team. If you like to join the beta team let me know on email (the subject line MLO-Unicode beta team). We have made dramatic effort to convert our sources to the new development environment with Unicode support. Much of the code was affected and optimized. It took much time for our team to test everything carefully. There are no much modifications on UI side yet. However there are many optimizations inside. The main change that MLO is now fully Unicode and you can write using different languages. There should be no international issues anymore which we had in the past. Please let me know on email if you want to joint the beta testing team to try new version. Andrey. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups MyLifeOrganized group. [MLO] Re: How do YOU use the features of MLO?
I am very new to MLO, therefore can't really contribute much at this point. However, I am very interested to see feedback for your questions. My questions at this point are very basic. What is the right way to start? I added a number of ideas/to-dos (~50) on my Android device via the quick way to add things, i.e. the '+'. Love the ability to do this quickly. Now I see them in the Inbox and wondering what is the best way to manage them from this point. Some are tasks, but some are going to be bigger projects. How do you convert these to a project? I installed few days ago the evaluation of MLO on my PC and these tasks in the Inbox. Again, I am just starting and will be searching for other threads but any feedback here link to relevant stuff would be great. I look forward to using MLO and hopefully I am making the right choice by moving cautiously with MLO :) Thanks! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups MyLifeOrganized group. Re: [MLO] Join Private beta team to test new MLO-Desktop UNICODE version
Andrey, Yes, I would like to be part of the beta for MLO 3.6. Could I also be in the iPad beta group? I'm very excited about that product. Also, do you have any sense of timing for MLO 4? [MLO] How do you use MLO and email folders to GTD?
How do you use MLO and email folders to GTD? My email folder structure is - Inbox - @Action - @WaitingFor - Someday - Archive - Project1 Reference - Project2 Reference When using my email I keep my Inbox empty by dragging emails to the appropriate female older. I also use MLO to manage my tasks using standard GTD contexts with folder structure according to areas of focus then projects, etc. The problem I have is that sometimes I work from MLO, and refer to email project folders. Sometimes I work from my email @Action folder and not always cross check with MLO. I don't want to use Outlook sync as I often use webmail or Thunderbird. But I don't mind dragging from email to MLO. What is the best way of operating in this way. Or perhaps there is a better way to keep both in sync whilst keeping on top of everything.
