[MLO] Re: How to filter out (exclude) a hierarchy of contexts from a view?

2017-04-09 Thread Lasse Pedersen
Thanks for the answer. I will try that out.
(I would not have figured this out on my own - perhaps also a good idea to
make a comment in the documentation about how "contains" work in this
respect).

[MLO] Re: Find behavoir: on MLO Android, words are considered "OR" (I don't like), on Desktop "AND" (I like!)

2017-04-09 Thread Roberto Penzo
Yes, I confirm: the search works as expected. Thank you very much.

By the way, I discovered what I think it is a bug: if you set a search
string on MLO Android and, after the search you do not delete the content
of the string field and then exit the MLO, when you open again MLO, it
immediately crashes. Ths is repeated one, two, three times, then finally it
does not crashes, but then it takes a long time to show the tasks, as it
would be remaking a internal indexing of the tasks.

Can you try to simulate this?

 Hi all.
Hope the subject just explains my concern.
 Just for better, I add:

-MLO Android, at the top of main window you can find the FIND field.
If you write two words ("say" and "hello"), you will get all the tasks
that have in the caption field (i.e. description) the word "say", and all
the tasks that have "hello". I do not like. I like the behavoir of MLO
 Desktop:

-MLO desktop, you can use for this the Ctrl+L field or the Ctrl+F field.
If you write two words ("say" and "hello"), you will get all the tasks
that have at the same time in the caption field (i.e. description) the
 word
"say" and "hello". I like it.

 Why this difference?

I say hello to all of you!

[MLO] Re: Flags added to MyLifeOrganized on Android

2017-04-09 Thread Roberto Penzo
Thank you Lasse, I too started using the flags exactly the way you done and
almost immediately I felt the need to directly change the Flag of a task.
It's for that reason that I asked to complete the Flags function.

I would thank once more Andrey to have understood this: MLO is expecially
useful for manually plan the daily activities. It would be also very useful
to have, as many times I said, a two-ways Google Calendar sync, to be able
to place our daily tasks in form of visual slots on a calendar table. There
we would able to estimate the daily spare room for other tasks comparing
them with the Calendar appointments, and eventually move some of them based
over free zones.
