RE: About transferring database
Hasan, You can use MyODBC for this. RE: MySql on Linux Clustering..?
I should clarify that you could have a cluster of MySQL servers using our replication. However for clustering you should consider the following: Maybe the most powerful project in this area is Beowulf (not Linux only) http://www.beowulf.org, but there are many such projects like: Cplant http://www.cs.sandia.gov/cplant/ Legion http://legion.virginia.edu Linux Virtual Server Project: http://www.linuxvirtualserver.org MOSIX: http://www.mosix.cs.huji.ac.il/ High-Availability Linux Project: http://www.linux-ha.org Kerry > -Original Message- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Thursday, August 01, 2002 9:09 AM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; [EMAIL PROTECTED]; [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: MySql on Linux Clustering..? > > > > I want to run MySql on Linux Clustering Sever. > But I can't find about that. > > Would you tell me , > Where can I get MySql Clustering HOW-TO Docs? > > > > - Before posting, please check: http://www.mysql.com/manual.php (the manual) http://lists.mysql.com/ (the list archive) To request this thread, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Trouble unsubscribing? RE: MySql on Linux Clustering..?
You could set up a clustering configuration using our replication. Just take a look at the replication section of our online docs: http://www.mysql.com/documentation/index.html Kerry > -Original Message- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Thursday, August 01, 2002 9:09 AM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; [EMAIL PROTECTED]; [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: MySql on Linux Clustering..? > > > > I want to run MySql on Linux Clustering Sever. > But I can't find about that. > > Would you tell me , > Where can I get MySql Clustering HOW-TO Docs? > > > > - Before posting, please check: http://www.mysql.com/manual.php (the manual) http://lists.mysql.com/ (the list archive) To request this thread, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, e-mail <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Trouble unsubscribing? RE: UK MySQL Users
Jeremy, Actually support is something I would like to explore. As of current, Yahoo! does not have an active support contract with MySQL so we should remedy that soon. Although I believe Yahoo receives our highest level of support because of the tight relationship, we should at a minimum get both the UK and US groups each on a minimum of our Enhanced Telephone support. All support info can be found at www.mysql.com/support. Jeremy, maybe we should talk for few minutes today about this, are you available this morning? Bill and Mike, we can discuss some options during our Friday meeting, perhaps over a pint ;-) Kerry -- Mr. Kerry Ancheta <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> MySQL AB, Senior Account Executive W +1 206-281-8448 | M +1 206-669-1188 www.mysql.com | F +1 425-671-0771 MySQL BEATS Microsoft http://www.eweek.com/article/0,3658,s=708&a=23115,00.asp > -Original Message- > From: Jeremy Zawodny [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > Sent: Tuesday, May 28, 2002 10:31 PM > To: Kerry Ancheta > Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; [EMAIL PROTECTED]; Jeremy Zawodny > Subject: Re: UK MySQL Users > > > I was going to ask this earlier but got tied up in other stuff... > > Where does Yahoo stand on MySQL licensing/support anyway? > > Last I knew, we had the highest support level.
