Re: [mythtv-users] Excuse to speak Spanish, but a list of Myhttv in Spanish does not exist and my English is terrible.

2005-08-10 Thread Daniel Hoyos

Hola,

http://www.mabula.net/mythtv.html

Tengo algunas preguntas a

Saludos,

[mythtv-users] Set up name instead of ip for myth server

2005-07-21 Thread Daniel Hoyos
I was just wondeirng if anybody could tell me or point me to a how to
guide on how to set up my machine with a domain. What I mean is that
instead of people inside the LAN having to type in the ip of the
server it would be nice if they could just type in http://mythbox/ or
somethign to that extent. I know that one way to do it is by altering
the hosts file but I would rather set up a dns so that all the
computers use it and then it resolves outside queries using the ISP's
dns. Thanks for the help.

[mythtv-users] PVR-350 and watching TV

2005-06-29 Thread Daniel Hoyos
Hey everyone,
I have two problems. The first is that I can't get the PVR-350 tuner to
work. All I get is the black and white snow. It is connected directly to
the comcast cable. i also know that it is both digital and analog cable
as we have a tv hooked up to it directly in addition to the digital
cable box.

The other problem I have is that the Watch TV part of myth freezes. I
have been testing it with the s-video input (which works) and it goes
into it, shows about a second of tv and then freezes and returns to the
menu. I imagine it must have something to do with live tv.

In any case any help you could give me with either of the matters would
be great. Thanks!

If it's all correct already, try plugging the S-Video cable directly
into you TV/Monitor to make sure there's a good signal on it.

Based on the URL in the log it seems like you're trying to update for
 FC4 x86_64.

I can confirm that the missing packages listed below are not yet in
 the atrpms.net repo for FC4 i386 or FC4 x86-64. I checked for these
 packages in at-stable, at-testing, and at-bleeding

Right now it appears that for FC4 x86_64 and i386 the following
packages have yet to be built:

 mythtv-frontend
 mythtv
 mythmkmovie
 myth-backend
 mythplugins

Once these packages appear in the repo then doing yum install mythtv-
suite will work. You can check for these missing packages using the
command: yum search myth | less
