My SerialATA flawlessly with Mandrake 10.1. I haven't tried Knoppmyth, though. On Tuesday 01 February 2005 08:09 am, Richard Chaney wrote: > Thanks for the "Heads-Up", Chris. RE: [mythtv-users] New MythTV System help
Thanks again for your help. ANOTHER QUESTION: Does MythTV support the WinTV-HD card and with multiple tuners? Their web site isn't clear about decoding, Hardware vs software, either Richard. In a couple of weeks we are expecting to see a new release so you will probably want to wait until that arrives before settling on a final solution. If both fails, check whether your BIOS comes up with a SATA legacy or SATA compatibility mode or similiar to turn your serail ATA into a PATA drive. Mandrake is a great distro and generally easy for noobs to learn on if you plan on using it as a desktop. if you have no interest in linux other than using it for a PVR then KnoppMyth comes with everything you need for Myth pre-configured. just stick in the cd, run the auto setup and walk through the configuration. 6 GMail Invites available Email me OFF-list only... ___ mythtv-users mailing list mythtv-users@mythtv.org http://mythtv.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mythtv-users

I've has concerns about the airflow but to date the temp is OK. However, there are no tuners installed and only one HD. Cases can be changed, my main concern now is what to put in it. :-)) Thanks for your input, Greg.
