Likewise - ISTR I asked John S if he could come up there too - this was
just before the move when Chris was threatening closure. Lovely bloke -
after his diagnosis, he went downhill very quickly - for all his "I'm just
a working class lad" bit, he moved in pretty exotic circles and was a
shrewd businessman.

Its partly that visit that made me get interested in learning to a bit of
my own tube bending...

Below is the failed attempt to re-gas a de-tubulated B7037. Oh, well...

Fortunately it was courier-delivered by Ebuyer and I opened it the same day.
There was a corresponding puncture mark in the outer cardboard carton and
styrene packaging. Ebuyer did not argue. They sent a new one and collected the
old one. Ebuyer were very good about it.

[neonixie-l] Clock-It back online

2015-03-06 Thread Quixotic Nixotic
A while back I took Clock-It.net offline, as I wanted to make the site
responsive for mobile devices and also convert it to Nerdpress so that people
might comment. It rather fell by the wayside as other projects took hold, not
least of which was going into the very depths of hell and back.

A word in my shell-like from Nick de Smith a few days ago suggested I should do
something about Clock-It. Which I did.

So please look at http://www.clock-it.net .

Nothing much that is ultra new I am afraid, but there are rather a lot of
projects half-finished in boxes here, so hopefully I can finish some of those
soon and add them.
