His other option, a much better option, as I stated previously, is to pick up the phone and CALL. It's not hard, it's effective, and it's private. Mort never called. Did it occur to him that David might not be reading this newsgroup regularly? A public lambasting should absolutely be the last resort. People like David are providing a valuable service. Do you want them to continue to do so? A great way to push folks like him out of the business is to publicly humiliate them. You only have to kick a dog a couple times and he won't come around you any longer. On Feb 27, 10:01 pm, will ossumguyw...@gmail.com wrote: Terry, what other recourse does mort have than to post here? If he wasn't getting responses from david, there's really nothing else he could have done. I'm glad that his watch got shipped, but come on, as he said, it seems there was not enough communication going on. I would have done the same thing, in fact I think mort's been surprisingly patient. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups neonixie-l group. I hear that David might have some help assembling watches now. I know he has trouble working on stuff when he has new ideas in his head, and he's had a very big new idea in his head for a while now. Being his identical twin, I have a vague idea of how his mind works. I have the same problem. Jim Forbes -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups neonixie-l group. Clearly I was worried about my watch. Another member suggested I post a message here to see if I could get some sort of response since email didn't produce any results. I have no knowledge of his business nor what his workload is. My only knowledge is ordering from his website and seeing his posts here. My apologies to Mr. Forbes, however some communication would have avoided this situation. If you couldn't get ahold of David by email, you certainly could have looked up his number and called him. It took me all of 15 seconds to find his number online: (520) 795-7xxx No doubt David is working hard to support his customers, new and old. He's a one man band. Give him a break. We had another supplier on this list a few years ago who truly was a deadbeat, people are still bemoaning the loss of their deposits on a certain clock. The whole affair got very tiring and distasteful. People were darn near calling for his lynching. Let's not go down that road again. Did you try a new battery? With typical use, they only last about 6 months in that watch. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups neonixie-l group. A new battery was the first thing I tried.
