Query...Net-SNMP on windows 2000
Hi I have installed the net-snmp package on Windows 2000 machine. When i am trying to register snmptrapd the message i am getting is C:\snmptrapd -register -Le -f -d 10.98.160.53 C:\snmptrapd No log handling enabled - turning on stderr logging Warning: no access control information configured. This receiver will *NOT* accept any incoming notifications. NET-SNMP version 5.3.0.1 No access configuration - dropping trap. No access configuration - dropping trap. No access configuration - dropping trap. and it is dropping the traps every time i am registering it with various options.. Could you please help me , if anything i could check at my end. Hi I have installed Net-SNMP Feature on Window 2000 machine. When i am trying to run snmpconf i am getting the promt C:\usr\bin\snmpconf requires Perl to run. . A version of Perl for Windows is available from http://www.activestate.com/Products/ActivePerl . Please install Perl and run this program again. . Press any key to continue . . . I have downloaded and install the perl in c\usr\perl.and i am able to run perl package manager(PPM). Could you help me out in this context. Net-SNMP for VMS platforms
Hi I am using a test tool that is operating on VMS. and the coding for macros is done is in C language. And i am trying to make the tool compatible for SNMP messages. Could you please tell me whether the net-snmp is compatible to work with the VMS platform also. SNMP Query
Hi I want to create the SNMP messages(GetRequest,GetResponse,Trap) messages for a test tool that we curruntly are using for testing IN messages.it supports the UDP layer.The test tool works on OpenVMS Operating system. I have a query that is it possible to use the files/macros given by you for my test tool. So that it becoms compatible with SNMP.(it will works as Manager).
