[newbie] KPPP
Hi all, Am trying to set up kppp, and when using the mini terminal window, find that all the commands I type there take up to 30 seconds to appear on the screen. And the replies from the modem are even slower. If anyone can help me with this, would appreciate it. Please keep it very simple. I'm really struggling to learn this system. Thanks! Karen
Re: [newbie] Audio PCI
Hi, My son does computers and networking in his own business in Montana. He and I both have the Ensoniq Audio PCI sound cards in our towers. He did some research on the 'net and found that the Soundblaster64 drivers will work with the cards. I don't know if that info helps or not. I have yet to learn enough to be able to see how Linux may have configured the card when I installed it last week. I'll ask him for the website where he got the sb64 updated driver we are using in w95/98. Karen
