I have the same problem with the Mandrake 7.1 solved reinstalling the menu file maybe is the menu file that comes with the Corel Photo Paint in the dir /dists/redhat/i386 the guilty party :-) Another problem i encountered with Corel Photopaint is when i try to open a new file cpt i cannot define the width and hight of the new project I asked Corel but I did not get any reply til now has anybody encountered the same problem? [newbie] Right Mouse Button and kde problems
Hello everybody, I have just installed Mandrake 7.1. Using kde when i click on the right button of the mouse on the desktop to add link to a new application of file system device and so on the only option I get is:new folder ( nothing more), this isthe same problem i used to have after installing staroffice with kde integration but this time no star office is installed. Another minor problem is that the kcmclock application seems to be disappeared from the kde control panel. I'm curious though, I'm using 7.1 and my $user account does have right click options - root however doesn't. Is that your case also? [newbie] Problem with xanim/aktion
Hello everybody, I just installed Mandrake 7.0 and i have a few problems. I can't play any avi or mov file: if i try with aktion i get the error in reading file info if i try from shell xanim file _name.avi or .mov i get the error of unsupported format files i was formerly able to play whit the previous version of xanim under Mandrake 6.0 and 6.1. I tried to uninstall and reinstall xanim but it didn't work. I have already read the documentation on xanim and the codecs for the various format of avi file exit (/usr/X11R6/lib/xanim/mods), it seems like xanim can't find them. just another little problem netscape is black i mean all the icons( hoem reload and so on) what is wrong with it?
