Yep. That's what they told me as well. I have forwarded
the Mindspring response on to Chmouel and Axalon along with the
request that they remove that person from the list. However, the
bounces continue.
It seems to me, otoh, that Mindspring *could* filter out messages
destined for "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" *before* they get routed to the
"[EMAIL PROTECTED]" mail box. I know *WE* have that capability
here.

Steve,

Thank you for contacting Mindspring Technical Support. I spoke with Engineering on
this Issue. When you are sending the email to [EMAIL PROTECTED], it is bouncing.
The reason being is this is an alias to an invalid email address. At this time the
only option that you have is to remove this address from the list.
This is a domain that we host but the user does the setup for his/her addresses. We
have no control of this. The user is responsible for this particular address. We see
that it is creating two bounced messages also. The simple removal of this user should
clear this up right away.

If you have any further issues or questions, please contact Mindspring Technical
Support @ 1-800-719-4660.

Thank You,

Rick Balmer

The message was received by the mailing list correctly. The bounce
message that I forwarded to you was a delivery attempt to one of your
subscribers. This is happening to every poster to the mailing list and
each of them is bounced by your servers.

Thank you for your attention to the problem.

  Hello,

From what this returned mail says, the e-mail being sent didn't have an
e-mail address in it at all. What was the original e-mail address in the TO: line
you were trying to send to?

The To: would have been [EMAIL PROTECTED] or
