I encountered the same difficulty in that clicking on a link did nothing. I tried the advice given in this thread. Is it a reason to not use Sylpheed?No. Is it a minor annoyance? Yes It can be worked around by selecting the link, copying it, and pasting it into your browser of choice. The extra clicks bothered me until I realized it gave me more control. Also lets you pick the desktop. I did try what you had in your previous post. It still only selects one word (the com in .com as an example). I will keep plugging away at it. I may try uninstalling and reinstalling Sylpheed. I too was successful. What I needed to do was to give the FULL path to Mozilla (in my case). I was using the mozilla '%s' that is listed in the pull down menu. Life is good. I alway have kwrite on desk1, sylpheed on desk2, oo on desk3, cli on desk4, quanta o desk 5, komba2 on desk6, current special projects on desk7/11, and opera on desk12.
