Re: [newbie] Minor irritation
I'm on KDE 2 - I wonder if that's why mine is different. There is no Receiving tab. On Miscellaneous I have the Beep option checked. It worked for a while. Anne On Monday 16 Sep 2002 8:07 pm, you wrote: Anne, 1) Open KMail. 2) Select Settings Configure KMail 3) Click the Network icon 4) Click the Receiving tab. 5) Check the Beep option in the New Mail Notification section. 6) Click OK. Miark Anne Wilson [EMAIL PROTECTED] saith: Kmail is set to beep on new mail. It did for a while, but doesn't now. Is there anything I can check to find what's causing it? I suppose I'm looking for something simple like checking the control panel sounds under windows to see if the whole sound system has a problem or if it is specific to Kmail. Husband, feeling bored on a wet afternoon, decided to play a game of cards while I'm out. Never used this linux thingy before, so click around trying to find solitaire. Only problem is that somehow he not only closed klipper but somehow has prevented it from starting up at login. How can I restore this? Anne Want to buy your Pack or Services from MandrakeSoft? Log back in again. klipper is still there. Next time you log out *uncheck* the 'save session' box. derek Want to buy your Pack or Services from MandrakeSoft? Go to http://www.mandrakestore.com
