That's print. What about fax, scan and copy?
I have a HP PSC 1210 Print was a bear to set up (lots easier now)
Print works fine scan use xsane and ofcourse copy is an internal function of
the printer (It dosn't need to be connected to a computer. A lot of small
businesses use it standalone as a color copyer.

No problem with copy or scan. Have to use a direct phone line for the
fax but that's not a real problem either, at least for me. I can scan
anything into the puter do what I want with it and then print it back
out. It copy's great even double sided. I'm using Cups and have four
print modes set up from Draft to Photo and I use Kooka for scanning. I
haven't had any problems at all with any of it. Hope this helps ya, Moe

Apparently, Brother has a few that will work in Linux, but check their
driver download page for more info on which ones will work. I'm not even
sure if the drivers will support all the functions of a multifunction
printer. Good luck!

A lot of the HP PSC multifunction devices work very well in Linux, all but the
fax capability. Check http://linuxprinting.org for details.

Try http://mandrake.vmlinuz.ca/bin/view/Main/PriNters There are a few
multifunction devices there, and a how-to for HP PSC devices.

I have an Epson CX5200 mfc and it works very well. I suspect that HP multi's will too, but check it out here:
http://www.linuxprinting.org/printer_list.cgi

You can pick the printer your interested in and find out if it works barely, perfectly, or not at all. HTH
