Actually, that did get rid of some RPMs, but there seems to be a jam
in the database with KDE's and Gnome's major core files.  There's also
a few corrupted helix files in the database.

Thanks to everyone that have offered advice on my problem.
Along with your comments and suggestions and other msg from
other sources. I've come to the conslusion that the motherboard
needs the jumper pins reviewed for proper setting.

My project for this weekend.. I'll post the results here.
