Paulsorry, I don't know, as I've never used ICQ. But I can tell you that it works fine with both AIM (or gAIM) and MSN Messenger. I dl'd that thing a while ago, have not yet gotten to set it up (since I am online for short periods only, due to phone charges ;) Do you have any idea if it can be set up to work with ICQ-clones? [newbie] Talking about firewalls.
Hi all, If you are eager to have a simple way to set up ip-chains, this looks interesting: subject: GuardDog 0.9 added by: Simon Edwards on Jun 03rd 2000, 00:40 license: GPL category: KDE/Networking homepage: http://freshmeat.net/redir/homepage/959994953/ download: http://freshmeat.net/redir/download/959994953/ description: GuardDog is user friendly firewall generation/management utility for KDE on Linux. It allows you simply specify which protocols should be allowed and requires no knowledge of port numbers. It is intended for client machines and currently does not support router/gateway configurations. Generates scripts for ipchains. (from the freshmeat newsletter of today...)
