If _people_ are offended maybe they shouldn't knock on my door? :-)

there is a story about a taoist who answered the door naked. the man at the
door was shocked and asked how he could do such a thing. the taoist
answered:

i live larger than you do. to me the whole world is my home, so my house
is more like my pants. the question is not why am i naked, but what are
you doing here in my pants bothering me?

not to worry...they'll come round. I've seen what Red Hat's offering and

Mandrake is their Update system. And that is just barely. The more I use
rpmdrake the more I like it and the more I like urpmi. However, I'm a

I'm not afraid if I break something I'll lose my mind trying to fix it.

 From a purely non-tech user standpoint...well I'll just say I see where
Mandrake is going and I'm extremely excited to be along for the ride
cause watching this distro grow and mature is some of the most fun I've
had with my clothes on.! ;)

Your right but 90% were excited about how sweet the
install went.Three Win users that had never seen linux
were there were excite they were told to check they,re
hardware and we offered a free help install if they would
bring they,re system to a meeting and I,d bet we well
get some takers. JOE

[newbie] beta 9.0

2002-07-24 Thread John Michael Drouhard

Hi, I don't know if any of you out there have installed the 9.0 Beta, but I
have, because I love to tinker with new things. I thought I might be a beta
tester. Anyway, does anyone know why tuxracer did not come with the beta?
That is one of my fav games.

Thanks,

John Drouhard

P.S. from what I have done so far, Mandrake 9 is not very buggy. Only a couple
bugs, maybe.

I don't know why the older version isn't included, but it is now a
commercial
game. If you want it, you can buy it. Or try getting the last free release
to
work.
