I did not have a clue neither. By accident, I stumbled upon harddrake disc
mounting. It seems to be a program only for repartitioning, but it does more
with samba.. There you can define the parts of different windows computers
you want to access and it installs without a problem. .

try komba2, should be on rpmfind or on the cds if you have 8.1

[newbie] mounting smbfs

Hi,
I'm just fine tuning here. I can access the windows network with   but I would like to know if i can automate this. 
I checked through kwikdisk but there didn't appear to be any options 
there.I have a feeling that there is something staring right at 
me.but I just can't seem to get it.

Ideas?
