Re: [newbie] Problem with Lynx
Ephrem, Download the latest Lynx file from Linux Mandrake. It will fix this specific problem. Frank Hilliard Ephrem Hugh Bensusan wrote: Can anyone help me? I have installed Mandrake 6.0. RE: [newbie] Problem with Lynx
Hi Ephrem - you need to have a tmp directory in you home directory. Do a mkdir tmp from you home directory. RE: [newbie] Problem with Lynx
This is lame, but you need to define the metamail temp directory. Check the man page for the exact environment name, but I just created a tmp directory in my home directory then put "export METAMAILTMP=/home/username/tmp" and it worked for me. on my second install I just bypassed the metamail installation. :) Jim -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of Ephrem Hugh Bensusan Sent: Wednesday, October 06, 1999 10:48 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [newbie] Problem with Lynx Can anyone help me?
