It works fine for me. Try 216.239.39.99 to get to it. If this works, you can add it too /etc/hosts as 216.239.39.99 www.google.com to always connect. It could be some problem with the dns servers at your isp not resolving the name for some odd reason. I would try contacting them. Len Lawrence wrote: Is Google still alive? How about: http://www.google.co.uk/linux I think they localize search pages for any country code. For narrowing it down further to GNU/Linux topics just add linux to the end.
