 urpmi.removemedia -a
 You will find that your installation CD's are missing from the list
 To readd your cd sources do:.
 
 Put CD1 in the drive and in root terminal type:
 
 urpmi.addmedia --distrib cdrom removable://mnt/cdrom

Thanks Johan. I actually was lead in this direction by the install forum
on Mandrake club.. but they left out the cdrom part.. so it acted liked
it worked but there was still nothing listed when I went to install
packages. Also urpmi.cfg was still blank.

So I thought to myself, to try sticking a name in..(same location where
you wrote cdrom.. I used Installation\ CD1.. Then just as you did
above.. This triggered a full read and added the database files for all
the CD's, even the other 5 CD's that are not part of the download
package.

So I got it but thanks for answer my question.
